Commercial misuses of SAAB 2000 by PAF

Speaking of misuses by the PAF. They were planning a 5 star resort in the Naltar "base" to make money from.
Basically the Paujis all occupy the best tourist spots, the most valuable land and then use it to generate funds for their own retirement benefits.

Is it a way to procure money for fighters .......

40-50k cost/ per person with 45 seats 40000*45 = Rs: 1.8M per flight
And i know that even if half plane is full, company is in profit and even if they share half with the Private company in 1 year PAF will earn Rs: 10M (Profit from 1 flight per month)

Now just imagine if PAF do 2 flights per week .....

Let us do the numbers properly
You calculated 1.8 million PKR for full occupancy
Which is roughly $15000 (assuming a conversion rate of 120)

Now if we assume 50% occupancy, then revenue per flight is 15000/2 = 7500$
Now Coming to costs:
Flyaway cost of SAB 2000 (civilian version) ranges between 3200-6800$ per hour depending on the scale

Let's assume best case scenario: 3200$ per hour
Now for 1hr 45 Min flight it is : $5600

Gross Profit : 7500-5600 = $2100 Per Flight
Assuming 2 Flights per week, Monthly Gross Margins are : $ 8400 Per month (that too with optimistic assumptions)

wont this reduce the service life of the aircraft? every aircraft comes with a certain "flight hours" with it before it needs an MLU and after a certain number of those overhauls, its obsolete. why use specialist aircraft for simple uses and reduce the effectiveness of the aircraft?

Ya it only make sense if maintenance cost comes under military budget or else it will be charity work considering high capital and maintenance cost ..

One of the SAAB-2000s was supposed to be a training aircraft. Maybe this is a way to train pilots and make some $$$ at the same time. Or this asset is under utilized and they started this service to avail its services and promote tourism image at the same time.

My friends whose parents were in PAF often boasted on how they got to fly C-130 flights for almost free. I would rather see a SAAB-2000 promoting tourism and making revenue in its free time rather than ferrying people for no charge.

PAF is no fool, they must have a proper reason. One thing could be its a way to induct more SAAB-2000s showing they are being used for non military applications as well.

Since we have all the defence experts generating their valuable contribution without an iota of knowledge on the subject, let me ask you whether the PAF has initiated this venture. PAF merely supplied an aircraft which due to it's nature most of the time sits idle in the hangar. How many times in a month would PAF use a 45 seat transport plane to ferry it's personal or otherwise. Furthermore it gives PAF transport pilots flying experience. And for Indians taking pot shots and all others in oblivion, read how the IAF recently spent some Rs. 30 Cr by utilising it's C-17s and C-130s.

The seats are empty anyways so why not make use of them. The cargo space is filled up.
I tried that once, Rawalpindi-Gilgit-Rawalpindi, within few hours.

Why are you comparing PAF operations with Indian operations?
