Why oh why does China invest so heavily into development of it's military, stirring up conflicts in too many areas already? They do this in a way that clearly fosters a growing arms-race and tensions build up that may one day easily devolve into a large scale regional war. Perhaps even a protracted war.
I think this is all a huge waste of money, lives, and livable living-space.
Leaders in China at the moment, show far too many imperialistically expansionary desires.
You show signs of sneakiness that can be proven with the slightest bit of journalistic insight, you are known to debt-trap other nations into revealing large facial recognition databases of most of their citizens under various guises, and when confronted with the evidence, you, like Trump, just call exposed truths "total lies", you retreat into the guise of a hurt set of egos, but meanwhile, THE WHOLE WORLD LEARNS ABOUT YOUR TRUE NATURE, AS TIME PROGRESSES.
And with that, the alliance that will ultimately tackle the growing threats that you pose, is formed, expanded, and strengthened in it's will to keep the sealines open to all traffic, and Kashmir free from border incursions in force, among other things that 'might evolve as the years progress'.
I think we're already past the tipping point for the strength of the free world's alliances against China to increase well past the required levels for it's success.
Think it over twice and three times even, Chinese.
To grow a large military only starts *expensive* arms races.
Of course, some of your smarter and nicer commanders might say "a large strong force is the ultimate guarantor for getting respect in negotiations", but that's simply not true when the opposing side has a strong free and truth-driven media woven into the fabric of it's politics, *along* with the right to peacefully demonstrate, in *all* of their constitutions.
So, dear Chinese leaderships, you can try to distract from those among you who might have evil(-ish) imperialistically expansionary desires, but you're forgetting to mind nearby history. WW1 and WW2 especially, taught the free nations of Earth (no reasonable man can call China 'free') not to trust wealthy nations that suddenly embark on things exactly like your Belt and Road Initiative, a seemingly praise worthy goal, except Hitler used the same excuse to build the German highway 'The Autobahn', and then used it to smash his forces through my Netherlands, Belgium, and well into France. He did the same on the Eastern Front (measured from Germany of course).
