my bro was planning to do mba from u.k. Now thats scary.
Tell your bro to do MBA from the best University in india why spend it outside spend it with-in india or best go for MBA to New Zealand, CA, US.
Not to be rude to foxhound. But Indian students go abroad for MBA only because they dont get admission in the good MBA colleges in India.

The top colleges like IIM...it's easier to get admission in Harvard and Yale than them.
The crowd that has experience applies to ISB and the like before applying for foreign universities like LBS.It is not exactly true. The crowd that goes to IIMs are quite different from the crowd that goes to Harvard, Stanford or other top schools. An average 5 years experience is required to get admission to Harvard or other top school, while crowd applying to IIM doesn't need experience.
Those students who go after MBA are going for super specialization. In my MBA class of 2012 at London Business School, more than half of the students from India already did their MBAs from one of the IIMs. And I can say that many many applicants from India who already did their MBAs from IIMs get rejected at London Business School every year.
Who is to blame?

The rest - well - IIM A/B/C need no introduction. The other IIM's students can indeed go for double MBA.
Cant say anyone is to blame in this case. The population is so large that competition to get into elite schools is far tougher than getting into elite foreign universities. The result is that in most cases those who cannot make it into the Indian elite schools apply to foreign ones. In general, in UK and all, you would not find the best of Indian students, rather generally its the ones who have not made it at home.
The government has expanded the universities and colleges to cope up, but then the brand gets diluted.
This is exactly what happens in China as well.
