Yes, I know some history of the Rajput Kingdoms, in fact i've some friends who are Rajasthanis , surname of 'Rathore'? Sounds familiar? Rajasthan -- does that not mean 'Land of Kings' ?
Haven't learned much of the Satavahanas, the Vijayanagaram Kingdom. Vijayanagaram --- the name sounds very familiar to the Sumatran-based Sri Vijayan Empire. Is the Vijayanagaram somewhat situated in present day Tamil Nadu ? As for Marathan Empire --- of course ! The last Indian Empire prior to the British take over, yes? Plus, I really admired the great battles between the Marathas and the Moghuls !

Yep Rathore is a Rajasthani Upper Caste surname.. And Rajasthan does mean the 'Land of Kingdoms.'
And regarding the Satavahanas :- They were an Empire formed by Telugu speaking Kings in South India who were once vassals to the mauryas. They played a crucial role to protect a huge part of India against foreign invaders like the Sakas & the Pahlavas

And the Vijayanagaram Empire was another great Empire of South India
The empire rose to prominence as a culmination of attempts by the southern powers to ward off the Islamic invasionw ehich were sponsored/encouraged by Islamic invaders from the North by the end of the 13th century.
It lasted until 1646 although its power declined after a major military defeat in 1565 by the Deccan Sultanates. The Empire was named after the capital city of Vijayanagara which is in present-day Karnataka.

And here is the statue of it's greatest King & one of India's greatest rulers-- Krishna Deva Raya.
The origins of both these empires & their rulers are closely related to the Kannadiga & the Telugu People & Culture (Karnataka, AP, Telangana) & NO their origins are not from TN nor are they related to the Sri-Vijaya Empire of Indonesia.
And regarding the Maratha Empire, I trust you must have read of Shivaji Maharaj
