Wrong about leading exporter. Pakistani knives used to sell for a few bucks and were/are considered junk because of poor steel quality and workmanship.

I am not aware of Pakistani made weapons used in all mentioned movies. If you are sure (a big claim), then you should also provide some kind of proof for that.

When claiming someone to be incorrect on any public fora you are also 'obliged' to pinpoint what you are claiming that person to be incorrect about, without which your above post is useless and a waste of bandwidth. Facts, which facts? Leading exporter of knives and blades? Those movies used our products? Kindly pinpoint.

Could be, my claim was based on news reports. There's a big share for cheap/knockoff blades out there, since the age for actual use of them is long gone.

hello i am a knife enthusiast i own many branded military gear knives! starting my collection with original Ka bar 1255 knife! its also issued to USMC. i had to pay 15,000rs for it but worth it!

how do i upload pictures? i want to share my knife collection especially ka bar and benchmade knives!

I understand the services use many different knives. I guess it is what you are comfortable with. Having quite a large bladed collection myself, the greatest fighting knife arguably ever made is the Gurka Kukri. My grandfather used to tell me first hand accounts at how brutally effective such knives were at close range, during the Second World War.

I love the Indoniesian Kerabit as well.

You know i had let go of this idea, to get Kukri right from where it is best made, but now this post of ypurs made me change my ming....Again......i.have some Nepali working with me, and he said to me that he can and will get me the best Kukri knife from nepal when he goes back next month......
I have few knives with me.too, with Gerber fastdraw / gerber Hinder cls being edc,
M9, kabar and dark ops.....inshallah Kukri is next on the list
