COMAC - ARJ-21 : milestone - facts and current performance

Same as my words. If delivery can be same as operation then F-35 serve be operational already..

You are trying to lie by giving false impression ARJ-21 already in service for 8 months. Obviously you are trolling.

now we know you lied. I never said ARJ21 in service for 8 month as stated clearly in any related posts.

I just raised the question is it low operating rate if a regional aircraft entered revenue service with a return flight per 2 days?

This is your idea. Thanks. I just wonder, the delivery from last November 2015, and less than 2 months after declaration to enter revenue service, with this progress, what happened when the 2nd aircraft delivered, and next, next ( in the batch 30 aircrafts ).

So, to you, in some aspects, at this moment, the aircraft could be considered as under any testing or not?

Actually, I expect after delivered last November 2015, the aircraft operated well, and when it enter revenue service in 28 June 2016, about 7 months after received, the aircraft could proceed at least 2 return flights per day, not a return flight per 2 days ( a day flies a return flight, and a day grounds )

I did you answer and you claimed 8 months of delivery and expect to full like a full horse. While in fact, it has enter 2 months of service. Its absolutely reasonable and nothing short of low flight service for a plane to enter service for such a short time.

If I used your such strigent way to gauge, Vietnam needs to equal the China economy level by 2018 if not Vietnam must be a failure, right?
May I know when Vietnam is going to make a passenger jet plane. Year 2099? :enjoy:

I think you started to flame bait, again !!! by this.
Vietnam would start to build our own passenger jet plane when our population reach 1 billion, I guess

If we are intimated by the tone of the above article (by A Riva), and all those negative comments written by the western media which have been trying every means to discourage our efforts in all the projects that aim to reinforce our defence or to threaten their monopoly in military or economy, we have had nothing to achieve as of today.

Well in my opinion this is a Sh!tty article with no true comparison. How its written is gives a sense that the western firm Boeing has reached at this capability of development just in a day like they are making an aircraft on an average of a day and a half. What nonsense is this ??? USA and Europe has a long aviation history and they are making aircrafts earlier than first world war they did not reach at this capability overnight. This is about research and development and taking right steps and giving in time. It's a painstaking processes. At least Chinese have their own regional jet even with foreign parts like engine and stuff but now they have something which is flying in the sky and its is for now is a new machine so it is better to get familiar with and take time to mature it as its the matter of civilian lives as well as the reputation of their new enterprise which is entering in an absolutely new business which they are learning.

Did you mean COMAC delivered to Chengdu Airline an aircraft that isnt operational in Nov 2015?
As normal thinking, to a delivery fall behind the schedule 5 years, the airliner would try their best to put it to revenue service as soonest and fullest as they can.
Did you mean ARJ21 isnt ready for daily basis flights now? After 9 months from the time of delivery? What is the reasonable time for it to fully operate, after 1 year?

That is my point, it isnt efficient for an ordinary airliner to do so.

Let´s view from the airliners angle.

That is a very short sighted view from you. If its using Boeing or Airbus plane, yes but consider a new plane like ARJ-21 and being first. Caution needs to be take. Not Justin plane alone but crew must slowly get familiar with plane. Aircraft maybe good but the if the crew is not trained enough, accident bound to happen. Chengdu airline being a state owned can afford losses. It doesn't matter profit or not but doing things the right way. You are just nitpicking , for a plane just operation for 2months. I do not see any problem of its flight routine.

. . . . .
looks like our .plane disappoint our viet friend's expactation.

He has much higher standard than us.
Its not just your commercial plane. He seems to feel unintrigued by anything that China is churning out and for that he thinks quoting western sources (who without a doubt are wary of China's rise) will somehow establish that "China isn't rising and they all can have a sound sleep."

In the state view, yes, it's the national project, step to glory, great achievement.

Let think simple. from the operator view.

If you the boss of an airliner, what do you think about the aircraft ?
Or, it's just like a taxi driver choosing a new car as his taxi

As we know, COMAC ARJ21 declared enter the revenue service since 28 June 2016, while the delivery to Chengdu Airline since 2015.

It can fly, everybody knows that, but It must bring the revenue, profit for the airliners to compete with other models, other airliners. That's the basis for next batch orders, new orders.

It's surprise that, at this moment, ARJ21 only flies a return flight between Chengdu - Shanghai, in 2 days.
13/Aug : Chengdu- Shanghai
13/Aug : Shanghai - Chengdu
15/Aug: Chengdu - Shanghai
15/Aug: Shanghai - Chengdu

flight time : about above 2 hours

Anyone saw that a very low rate in operating a routine ?
or they ( COMAC ) are still testing the aircraft ?

as we learn that Chengdu Airline actually is COMAC's subsidiary
Ancient proverb.
People who says it can't be done should not disturb people trying to do it.

I didn't view from the maker, but the buyer's view.
Now, we take a look at the A-380 timeline, then we know how the first A-380 bring revenue, profit to the Singapore Airlines.
..............................
the first A380, MSN003, (registered as 9V-SKA)
was delivered to Singapore Airlines on 15 October 2007 and
entered service on 25 October 2007 with flight number SQ380 between Singapore and Sydney.

Singapore Airlines’ second A380 will join the first aircraft, which has been operating a reliable daily scheduled service between Singapore and Sydney since 28th October, operating around 15 hours per day with a 100 per cent technical reliability for over two months to the satisfaction of the airline and the passengers alike.
At the end of 2007 the first Singapore Airlines A380 had accumulated over 130 flights and around 950 flight hours.
........
Emirates was the second airline to receive the A380 and commenced service between Dubai and New York in August 2008. Qantas followed, with flights between Melbourne and Los Angelesin October 2008. ( Qantas take the delivery of the first A-380 in Toulouse, France in 19 Sep 2008 )

By the end of 2008, 890,000 passengers had flown on 2,200 flights.

In February 2009, the one millionth passenger was flown with Singapore Airlines and by May of that year 1,500,000 passengers had flown on 4,200 flights

On the first AJR21, .... to be continued
