Colours of Holi smear Muslims, Hindus in Pakistan

Taking part in non-muslim festivals is clearly NOT permissible for muslims.

And its really amusing how people expects muslims to bend over backwards to show that they r tolerant. I mean this whole islamophobic narrative of muslims being intolerant is really ludicrous. Those muslims who correctly don't take part in kufr festivities are intolerant? WHy being so apologetic when there is clearly no need to and that too at the cost of your beliefs? Seems to me that its non-muslims who r clearly intolerant as they want muslims whether in majority or minority to accept non-muslim beliefs to prove their tolerance.

And at the end of the day its some retarded minority seculars/liberals in the muslim world who do such non-sense. They r the bigest enemies of muslims.

Prohibition on celebrating the festivals of the kuffaar - islamqa.info
Is it permissible for Muslims to take part in their festivals, such as Christmas?

Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible for the Muslim to join the kuffaar in their festivals and to express joy and happiness on these occasions, or to take the day off work, whether the occasion is religious or secular, because this is a kind of imitating the enemies of Allaah, which is forbidden, and a kind of co-operating with them in falsehood. It was proven that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Help you one another in Al‑Birr and At‑Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment”[al-Maa'idah 5:2]

We advise you to refer to the book Iqtidaa’ al-Siraat al-Mustaqeem by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him), for it is very useful on this topic. [Translator’s note: This book is available in English under the title “The Right Way,” published by Darussalam, Riyadh].

And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions, and grant them peace.

Happy Holi to all Hindus.

Happy Holi to everyone.

I always support actions taken by the society itself to protect the minorities. Islamic Republic protects all religious holidays of Sikhs, Hindus or Christians. They are officially recognised too. Legally speaking the only minority that we are activly persecuting are Ahmadis. We can throw them in jail for 3 years for saying ''Salam o Alikuym''. :(

Why bro??

@Bang Galore checkt he thread Holi around the world. specially the russian one.

Seen them all. Prefer the Mexican, Argentinian & Brazilian ones. However they are all essentially copied from the Utah, u.s. one & are nopt directly connected to the actual holi festival though they still use the name. The utah fest is connected with the Krishna temple and you really have to take a bow at the liberal attitudes of everyone concerned.

@levina islam never stops us from helping other religion. Islam is a religion which advise us to help others and just preach ur religion not to enforce it
