Received Robera coffee from Addis - 1kg. Amazing is the word that least describes it.

If you get a chance, that is the coffee you must get to try.

No idea friend. I checked it online not much luck. We get daily flights from Addis into Gaborone, and Johannesburg. From Addis, this came thru.

Just amazing. I think in Southern india they do grow coffee but it is Robusta not Arabica; Robusta is too bitter for me but if blended well with Arabica does really well when mixed with a tad of cloves grind, cardamon.

If you get a chance to travel to East Africa, you will never drink another coffee. What is grown locally is out of this world - around moshi, rwanda, Kivu. Uganda is so so; but you can get a good one if luckly. Kenyan is over rated in comparison with tanzania; the later is as good as any good ethiopian cultivars.

Also not sure if you can get Cuban coffee there. Serrano is king of cuban coffee. Amazing chocolate and smoky taste. I did try blue mountain - jamaican coffee, was not too thrilled or even Kona Hawaiian coffee was mediocre.

The biggest key when brewing - first always buy beans - never use pre-ground coffee; the oils are dried. i have a hand grinder from Turkey which works wonderful. Around 500mg at a time. Next is water - if you have high mineral content water like we do here, you will find taste comes thru so well vs very soft water.

lb = Pounds which 0.453 kg i.e 1 kg = 2.2 lb.
It's taste is like molten gold, very rich, smooth and silky and still less less intense than like Intenzo or Arabica ..

It is mostly because of shipping cost may be as well.

There are villages around moshi where the coffee is beyond words; unless you are there it wont get exported.

Actually arabica is the prime variety of coffee grown in India ,its because of the spread and infestation of coffee rust disease robusta came into popular use (rust tolerant) problem is that it's just a hybrid nobody really likes its flavour ( cross between liberica and arabica)
More than 80 percent of Indian coffee is exported to European countries
Indian monsoon coffee is very famous

I know that's why Sweden has banned it. I never drank it...but it does not change the fact that it is the most expensive coffee .

By the way, the shit coffee shouldn't be a problem for you since you guys consume cow dung and urine.

Boiled down cow urine has been used for centuries to treat wounds ,at that time nothing was available
People who do these practices have either liver infection or kidney stones
Its a wide established fact in Ayurveda and unani medicine

What's the problem love? why so much hate? it seems you have a tough life and had a very tough childhood, you got molested by multiple people.. so after channeling all this hate towards me, you proceed to sing the benefits of cow urine and its historical use in your community blah blah..so why don't you just embrace it and say that you drink it because it is beneficial in your "brain" and you have seen your forefathers use it for centuries? ...what's the hate in it? or simply deny that you don't consume ...

Correct, that same issue affect SriLanka and they switched to tea growing. However if roasted correctly it can be pretty potent. What is a common way is to try to add chicory which dilutes the bitterness. When done with milk, it is fine.
