why covering the faces?

Common sense, people from other nations are not use to inhaling dust, that's why they cover their mouths and noses.

three things I have noticed

1: There is some sort of logo at the start of the video also in the thumbnail of the video that is blurred on purpose
2: By the end of the video you can see some troops wearing gas masks (Curiously only Saudi troops appear to be wearing those masks)
3: Airforce is also a part of it

To me it looks like a playout exercise of some offensive plan which involves airforce and possible chemical/nuclear element to it.

They are wearing ordinary dust masks as a safety precaution against desert sand.

II Corps is a strike corps as everyone knows but i think they have integrated the units from XXXI Corps and II Corps to create a more heavy strike punch. The two mechanized infantry divisions of XXXI corps along with the 1st Armor can penetrate hundreds of kilometers.

In addition to these 3 No. heavily armored divs, both of these corps have several armored and mechanized brigades to supplement the infantry operations across the border.
