General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) called on His Excellency General Fayiadh Bin Hamed Al Rowaily, Chief of General Staff (CGS), Saudi Armed Forces at Riyadh, today.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including Afghan Peace Process, defence & security and military to military cooperation were discussed. COAS emphasized the need to further enhance military to military cooperation between the two Armed Forces and said that Pakistan-KSA cooperation will have positive impact on peace and security in the region.
CGS KSA thanked the COAS for his sentiments and assured of full cooperation and support from KSA in all initiatives aimed at improving regional cooperation, peace and stability.

Everybody in this world ( who have eyes on Pakistan And Pakistan Army ) know that Pakistan Army has strong ties or relationship with KSA , USA , UK . UAE establishments or Royals . Military diplomacy is being used to remove distrust .

Both SMQ and IK were almost banned in GCC.... it was Bajwa who pacified gulfies during past year, at the time around when Saudis were going to withdraw 1$billion, which they are keeping in state bank of Pakistan, if that have had happened, that would have lead to collapse of IK kingdoom.
In upcoming trip of IK, you will see an Imran Khan with updated software.
Bilal Akbar is made ambassador recently, that is part of confidence building measures.

Its not like cooking food that u will know the result by tasting it yourself . In Diplomacy or military diplomacy many know that a lot of Progress happens behind the scene ( which of course take some time ) and is announced at an appropriate time .

Pak wanted Saudia to have at least foreign minister conference at OIC level for Indian actions on 5 Aug, 2019 which Saudia blatantly refused and SMQ did speak about it.

Since Pak left this demand and actually started improving its relations with India, Saudia wants Pak back on its side.

The summary is Pak did not get what it wanted from Saudia and back with its old salary.
