Gen Raheel was well deserved, but....Come on. He didn't ratchet up support to the Kashmiri freedom fighters, he didn't order tit-for-tat attacks after Baloch terror attacks on our soil, he didn't aggressively neutralize R&AW's network in Afghanistan --- essentially, he didn't raise the cost for India for any actions.
patience my brother patience he will.

I love your enthusiasm. You probably haven't peered deep into the Army psyche like I have.
You will probably be disappointed. But I continue to pray for the best. Patience does not suddenly change a General's entire approach to security.
i am not disappointed what i was trying to say is u cant fight every body at a same time.
New Recruit
You need to achieve a certain minimum unconventional deterrence which he has failed to do. Another 3 years is just unfair on the Army and on the country.
in my opinion only person who fail to achieve any thing was kiyani. he achieved some of thing that kiyani didn't achieve . giving him next 3 years is a good move.

God help you and Pakistan
Tension for what exactly??
Tension for not taking any action against what India is doing since the start of August?
16% of our budget goes to army and our tax money wasted when the time comes they are not doing anything to protect our honor and dignity.

exactly !!Sorry, It's the economy brother! Honor and dignity only count when you can pay your own bills, policies of the past were in the past...
What a complete BS.Sorry, It's the economy brother! Honor and dignity only count when you can pay your own bills, policies of the past were in the past...
What a complete BS.
So by that logic a stronger have a right to abuse weaker??Even if you are weak in some sense it's your right to protect your honor band dignity. And exactly is India paying our bills or we depend on them financially??I am sure we are a regional power, have enough resources to give India a bloody nose.Infact when a war occurs no one has enough resources WW2 is the best example.
Wars are not fought for who wins or who loose they are fought for honour and dignity.Where is our human consciousness when the lives of millions of kashmiris are in danger ,not just that our country's future is also on danger, there was a reason why our founding father Jinnah emphasized on Kashmir long before Pakistan got Independence.
But somehow cowards like you always find excuses when a difficult time arises because they don't want to sacrifice.Things like weaker economy, less comparative size of armed forces etc, foreign loans(every country has ) are typical excuses we hear from people like you.
Ok got it you ran out of logical arguments.
