This is a step in the right direction but more needs to be done at lower level education. The literacy rate for Pakistan is not good and that only improves with elementary education.

Even NUST is majority civilian but it's Army institution. It seems Army has created another one now

In our PG class we have 1 person from armed forces (either Army or PaF) out of total 31.

It has always been under Military control. It was a technical institute until very recently when they turned it into University.

I don't know if you had heard the name CTTI or before that it was CTI. They used to offer DAE, Btech and MTech courses in Mech, Elect, Civil, & Mechatronics. it was run by Military boys anyway.

They reformed it into University now. A friend of mine is in Computer Sciences Faculty, and most of the faculty has studied abroad...they are talented guys i know few of them atleast in the IT department.....they have reformed the syllabus extensively and ensured that it in aligned with International standards......

Since it is a Technical University was gonna make a humble request to also focus on some Metallurgist so we can get that Engine , researcher issue sorted out we already have enough website builders
