at best some enhancing of exchanging training programs . our officers already go for British academy and Gunnies and staff course . their officers come for staff course as well every year and conduct other military exercises.
these are purely training and processional matter meetings not like the political visits to shop and dine at the host expense, he would meet his officers that are undergoing training might be a guest speaker at some military conferences and might sign some agreements on starting new shared training programs since US administration is unwilling but again there is not much to be excited about because UK wont even cough without the US approval. and displeasing Trump administration for the sake of Pakistan is definitively not good for UK

In fact, it is very difficult to forget the origins especially when the host country keep your reminding that you don't belong here ... I'm not saying at the governmental level but in the society the some white kid will remind you, someone in the market, train, tram, metro...will always remind and then you start to cluster in ghettos or special areas ...is a constant reminder that you are not equal or the same whatever you do.. so they don't forget it.

TBH i don't expect anything from British of Pakistani Origin , I don't like when i heard that in some city in UK 1400 girls were sexually assaulted by Grooming gangs, ( mostly Pakistani Origin ) and they call them Pakistani's ... they should be called British not Pakistani's .

Yeh I can relate with your sentiment. I read in news article that Karachi Mohajirs voted for Altaf Husain's MQM which not only is involved in killing, torture, running rackets, corruption but also recieved support from Indian RAW. Indeed Altaf even went as far as to say Pakistan was a mistake.

Frankly after that I consider all Mohajirs in Karachi Indians and not Pakistani.
