In Pakistan christan community is given a special holiday for 25 december otherwise there is no holiday onAllama Iqbal birthday and death of Quaid but in west holiday is not given officially to Muslims and they have to apply for holiday on Eid like other holiday due to sickness or other cause and they cut it from annual holidays given to employee
Mate you can easily get a holiday here for Eid, work and schools won’t stop you. The only reason 25th December is a holiday in Pakistan is because of Jinnah Day.

Maybe think before you type next time.

No one denies your holiday request for religious purposes here in the UK. Honestly speaking I think UK is very tolirent of others.

I have some relatives who are doctors in u.k they are not given holidays in Eid on the reason that there is emergency in hospitals it all depends on your job and also if eid come on day of your examination they never adjust datesheet to give holiday on Eid day

You’re right there, my uncle is a doctor working for the NHS. It works both ways though; some don’t get holidays on Christmas for the same reason.

In chrismas Muslims are not given holidays but preference is given to christans for holiday but when any student exam come on Eid day they have no option for holiday and datesheet of exam is not adjusted for Muslim students
