COAS's face in that picture does not look happy. I wonder why that is so.Fellows, let's not spread sectarian stuff here. And let's ask the right question first - Why is the COAS visiting Iran?
Obviously, this visit appears out of the blue, or at least it was kept under wraps. So there is something or somethings going on. So what can it be?
As for his reason, i suspect Pakistan is sort of like "Oman of south east Asia" - negotiating and delivering messages between conflicting countries. Its a good role to play and Pakistan can actually develop alot of regional power from this(playing "neutral" ground can be empowering, look at Russia and Oman for example in the ME).
