Both coal consumption and production GROWTH were the highest in the world in '14.

This is a 13-year old boy. Why she's not at school but emerges in a dark and dirty and dangerous coal mine tunnel? Is he taking a geology lesson so one day he may become a premier? Or is he just taking a sight seeing tour in a natural environment like what Premier Wen Jiabao did in Iceland?
This is this child labour's daily meal which does not include free milk and free egg.
... and share his appreciation with others by dragging the natural resource onto the group.
A coal miner in China climbs a shaky ladder to daylight - maybe a 19th-century mine in US or Europe might have looked similarly hellish, isn't it?
I don't know what has promoted such a pathetic and nonsensical response from you guys - a discussion that has absolutely got nothing to do with you or your country either - trolling for no reason and ending up starting a flame war. Kindly leave if you have nothing constructive to discuss - Anyways I am leaving it here - you'r are free troll at your will - Thanks!
The current level of disinvestments in PSU's including Coal India are sufficient. A much better option would be development and operation of mines through Public Private Partnership (PPP) model - an effort to raise output by outsourcing mining activities to private contractors.
It may sound too awkward but the output of private miners in coal sector has been highly disappointing ever since the previous allocation of coal mines took place with the PSU's outpacing them by a wide margin.
