CM okays Knowledge City in Lahore

That's good news that they are trying to match in much need area of Eduction, doesn't matter if it's stealing ideas at the end Public will get benefits, Do Punjab govt. have any plan for Health & Police sector?

ofcourse positive competition is great, but I was referring to the fact that they are propagating as if PTI is copying, you know how it happens online. anyhow, I love this competition. but we must think in terms of benefit to the nation. if he must initiate a new knowledge city, it should be away from Lahore, for god's sake Lahore is expanding senselessly... we must develop new cities or expand existing cities so that some economic activity is generated there as well.

Turkish varsities interested in Knowledge City

LAHORE - Four Internationally acclaimed universities of the Republic of Turkey have expressed their willingness to establish sub-campuses of all the four universities in “Knowledge City” to be colonized in Dera Rakh Chahal, Lahore. An 8-member delegation comprised of educationists from Ata Turk University, Gediz University, Dicle University and Fath University, on Tuesday called on the Punjab Chief Secretary Javed Aslam in Civil Secretariat, and showed their intent to collaborate in promotion of higher education in Pakistan through establishing their campuses in the proposed Knowledge City, Lahore.
Welcoming the Turk delegation, Chief Secretary hoped the collaboration between Turkey and Pakistan in higher education sector will yield better prospects for the Pakistani youth and will help Pakistan achieve new horizons of progress and prosperity in the days to come. During the meeting, the Turk delegation was given a detailed presentation regarding the master plan of proposed Knowledge City.
Additional Secretary Higher Education informed the delegation that the Government of Punjab has transferred 705 acre land to the Higher Education Department. This piece of land was under the use of the department of Livestock and Dairy Development as dairy farm which has been shifted to another place. The development work to house campuses of various foreign universities will commence from December this year, he added.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Mirza Sohail Ammer, Vice Chancellor IT University Dr Umer Saif, Vice Chancellor Kind Edward Medical University Dr Faisal Masood, Chairman Punjab Examination Commission Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Special Secretary Higher Education Sohail Shahzad and Secretary P&D.

believe it or not u PMLNers are copy cats...u copied our several plans in election time too...i wud be more than happy to see all provinces of punjab with progress but since our Media is heavily funded by PMLN so im pretty sure our news on KPK progress wud never get any place in Media or wud be highly ignored!
You are an idiot if you are comparing punjab with KPK. Shahbaz sharif has done way more work than your pencil khattak will ever imagine. So shhhh

This kind of steps dont do any good for political gains, for that reducing the price of ghee by 10 rupee does more for public consumption
