SAFF Championships
1993 Winners India Runner Ups Sri Lanka
1995 Champions Sri Lanka Runner Ups India
1997 Champions India Runner Ups Maldives
1999 Winners India Runner Ups Bangladesh
2003 Winners Bangladesh Runner Ups Maldives
2005 Winners India Runner Ups Bangladesh
2008 Champions Maldives Runner Ups India
2009 Champions India Runner Ups Maldives
India total winning 5 championships and Runner Up twice. Bangladesh only winning once and runner ups once.
In 2009 Championship it was actually India U-23 Team that compited and won against the usual teams of other countries.
You cant even beat our U-23 team. Beating us once does not make you great in Football against us.
So? Even Indian cricketers used to play in local Bangladeshi tournament, so now will you claim that Cricket in BD is better than India?
Look at you,how nicely you cut my post to withdraw how our football's condition was getting worse.
And at the end you are showing off with your last statement.
And as for Indian players playing, had your fertile brain understood what I was trying to convey with the post, you wouldn't be asking me questions.
It was posted to give you an insight of how popular and how competitive football was in those days.
Since you can not understand posts at all, then no point talking to you.
On each of the SAFF championship,Bangladesh were considered as top contender. So that makes Bangladesh
"evenly matched" with India. So I stand by my word.
India
Arsenal doesn't always win against Chelsea. But that doesn't mean they are third class team. Both team are still considered "Evenly matched".
I hope you understand football properly.because you seem to fight over anything without understanding.
I also told you to look at SAFF games.
And you are saying we only won once against India based on the champion and runners up position.
How foolish can that be....
Looks like you don't understand posts at all.Just write what you feel like.
That was a special arrangement between BD Cricket Board and BCCI to play all the matches in BD as the board and country can make some money out of it.
Pakistan played in India in 2005 and 2007 why not BCCI would allow Bangladesh?
Get the facts first before commenting.
Since I am unaware of facts, provide me with your source of knowledge. i.e. Link.
McGrath represented # 1 team who was not playing against an ordinary team while BD who is angry at Sehwag could not even contain Gillespie on his day.
Now I am 300% sure. You just write without understanding anything.
I mean what are you implying here?
And go back and try to understand what I tried to portray in my post.
P.S. : Was Gillespie representing Kenya when he scored double century?
Yeah he won the test match and BD could not take 20 Indian wickets. Thats exactly he was saying that since you can't take 20 Indian wickets you are Ordinary. Its a fact. His tone was not disrespectful.
Dhoni will lead back India in 2nd Test. Why not defeat us for a change and shut everyone's mouth on this thread?
We dont claim that we are Olympic champs and when someone calls us ordinary in Olympics we accept the fact.
When Sehwag came to the podium to say a few words entire stadium was booing him. That is enough for me to judge.
Until then there is nothing wrong in calling BD team as an ordinary team.
GB
He always had the declaration option. It wasn't as if india was 600 for 5.It was 413 for 8.
About accepting fact, just give it a rest will you?
We saw you people burn down effigies and even attacking their own player's house just as they lost to BD in WC.
Nice acceptance.they couldn't even accept that opposition can once in a while outsmart their "Semi-Gods".
As for rest of your ranting, not worth reading.
We are a third class team and you are the super best team.I guess this should make you happy and keep your fingers shut.
At last, you quoted other's post at the end and made it look like my reply.Really Pathetic.
