Clashes kill six Pakistan security forces: Officials

@sandy_3126
This is the tragedy or rather the soul destroying dilemma faced by some of our security forces.
The Americans/NATO in Afghanistan have on several occasions obliterated whole wedding parties just because some one had fired a gun in the air....yet when hundred of these scum bags meet up inside Afghanistan and charge towards the Pakistani posts with everything blazing, all the American hi-tech gadgets become blind, worse the surviving terrorists can easily fall back and disappear back into Afghanistan. Pakistan has repeatedly asked the likes of NATO to secure it's side of the border but to no avail. The only option left seems for PA to carry out cross border raids to neutralise the menace.

What has pakistan done to strengthen it's command and response infrastructure to afghanistan border? If pakistan has complete infrastructure to counter India on every military account, what does it lack in countering these insurgents which are attacking from afghanistan, I am sure pakistan has it's survellence UAV's which can monitor and pinpoint it's arty to exact locations of retreat under such circumstances.

In my view, Pakistan does not have the capability to manage both the borders with the same level of sophistication. And tensions with India will not allow Pakistan to reduce forces on east to bolster the west. Which in turn makes the thin line of defence they have on western border that much more vulnerable

These two faced terrorists cannot be trusted. From one side of their mouth they announce not to attack the Pakistani forces, while, the same day, they kill 14 of them with an IED attack. The next day they orchestrate a coordinated attack with over hundred terrorists and kill six more security forces personnel. How can anyone continue to offer these terrorists any leeway with the help of conspiracy theories?

We strongly condemn these attacks and send our condolences to the families of those killed. Pakistan has suffered enough at the hands of these home grown terrorists. We stand strong with the people and the security forces of Pakistan as they tackle this evil. We are confident that we will prevail.

Then does it make sense, if India puts pressure on the eastern border, thinning out the afghan border resources, where pakistan continues to take losses, as a means of putting pressure on pakistan vis-a-vis infiltration.

Absolutely.. Just watch this space over next couple weeks. India bolsters defensive presence on LOC. Pakistan matches it.. Western border and NW becomes even thinner.. Pakistani Soldiers there become even easier target for TTP and BLA

Pakistan will eventually run to USA (now a little tougher than what it used to be) and USA (due to Afg angle), will pressurize India to reduce pressure on LOC in exchange for some lame a$$ concessions from Pakistan like a fuzzy statement ....

The morons in the Indian parliament can then go back to their daily nonsense..

I don't understand how 6 of our men died, some kidnapped and wounded and how they lost only 4 men in the attack despite us having vests and better weapons. Usually analysts say there should be a 3-1 advantage to Pakistan army when facing the terrorists. This does not reflect in the losses though.

What that would need is subtle mobilizations and calming down of media hue and cry.... Increase troop presence but do not make it apparent. Conduct multiple exercises on border, especially on the plain land border. Bring on some IAF assets, but do not make any of this obvious.. Last thing you want is present an apparent Indian Boogeyman

Abdul Quddus becomes Ali Khan and Ali Khan Abdul Quddus. You are from a country of champions. Muslim names aren't funny by the way... how did you choose such neutral ones. Why not Kifayatullah, Nazir or Hekmatyar?

Sir, we are touched by your sentiments but don't you feel apart from condemnations and condolences, if US was to ship a squadron of Predators to Pakistan, that would add more substance to the lip service.

For last couple of years, there has been an arrangement between India and Pak which has resulted in subtle reduction of forces on Indo Pak Border/LOC which in turn has allowed Pakistan to redeploy those jawans in Waziristan . Now the level of forces will simply go back to normal (as subtly as it was reduced) putting Pakistani soldiers on its western border at a higher risk due to reduced concentration.

Thuraya and Iridium...
These two signals need to be jammed in Pakistan's tribal areas and much of Afghanistan......
Thats how these terrorists communicate, huddle together, launch an attack and disappear....then come back later...

Thuraya....Iridium...

Then there is a huge need of an insrallation dedicated to 'microwave espionage'...

.
Lstening stations high on mountain peaks, listening for any microwave transmission from the area..then if unscrambled, trying to analyze what the signal says..if its two walky talkies? Then try to find the direction from which signal is coming and approximate distance..
Then keep track of it..
If the signal sources are converging towards a sensitive area, such as a military post.. Issue warnings to the military post, and keep teacking the signal....so that they can be on lookout and element of surprise is gone...
