Lol, Arakan Army is one of the main parties of Northern Alliance and they have a pretty strong alliance with KIA and MNDAA, why would they agree to a ceasefire if Tatmadaw attacks AA in Rakhine?

The best way forward for Tatmadaw is to withdraw their troops and accept the presence of AA in Rakhine. Include Rakhine in the ceasefire agreement, allow AA to have bases in the four townships and let them handle the law & order and the security of Rakhine.

AA on the other hand want a unified Arakan with diversity. AA also gained huge popularity. I hope they gain support with Rohingya too.

No matter what the case is, no Buddhists would tolerate Muslims in their land. Although the citizens of Myanmar are fighting amongst them, but each and every ethnic group has one common enemy and those are Burmese Muslims.

The Arakan army have already declared rohingya as a Islamic terrorist group and would not want them in Buddhist dominated Arakan.

Arakan will be an independent state but it will be ruled and dominated by Rakhine Buddhists. Don't expect Muslims to be accepted in an independent Arakan.
