NEW DELHI:
Concerns over the continuing clandestine quid pro quo between Pakistan and North Korea in terms of nuclear and missile proliferation, all under the benign guidance of China, have further accentuated in India after Pyongyang detonated a possible thermonuclear or hydrogen bomb last Sunday.

The Indian security establishment is also of the firm belief that China may condemn North Korea's nuclear test+ all it wants but simply cannot wish away its pivotal role in the complex proliferation web that has enabled both Pyongyang and Islamabad to progressively strengthen their nuclear and ballistic missile arsenals over the years. India, in fact, is worried the expertise gained by North Korea through its nuclear and missile tests, which included the Hwasong-14 intercontinental ballistic missile earlier this year, will translate into concrete gains for Pakistan like it has in the past.

Pakistan is expanding its nuclear and missile arsenals at a rapid clip, having overtaken India in the number of nuclear warheads (estimated to be 130-140 compared to India's 110-120) and the variety of delivery systems.

"It has also supplemented its enriched uranium-based nuclear programme with a weapons-grade plutonium one in a major way. Plutonium makes for more efficient warheads for missiles," said an official.

Pakistan, incidentally, tested a new 2,200-km range Ababeel ballistic missile, which carries a MIRV (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles) payload, for the first time in January this year. An MIRV payload basically means a single missile can carry several nuclear warheads, each programmed to hit different targets.

India, of course, is also developing MIRVs for its Agni series of ballistic missiles.
It's no wonder the annual defence ministerial dialogue between India and Japan on Tuesday strongly condemned North Korea's sixth and most powerful nuclear test of September 3, in which an over 100-kiloton device was apparently detonated with several times more destructive power than the Hiroshima one of 1945.

"Japan obviously is more worried about the deteriorating security situation in the Korean Peninsula. But Pakistan is a bigger problem for us. If China really wants, it can rein in both Pakistan and North Korea but it chooses to profess innocence," said the official.

It's no secret that China has systematically helped both Pakistan and North Korea over the decades, with some tracing it back to a secret deal between China's Mao Zedong and Pakistan's Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1976.

Beijing first provided Islamabad with designs for low-yield uranium devices, and later even tested a Pakistani nuclear device at its Lop Nur test site in 1990. Concomitantly, China helped North Korea in missile design technologies.

. . .
These two nations are always made for each other.

Ahtam bamb.

. .
Iranians are far ahead than Koreans in Missile technology as accepted by virtually everybody now (Americans, Israelis, and even Chinese).

But Iranians have not tested an ICBM but North Korea with their tinpot military infrastructure has.

Pakistanis gave nuclear tech to North Korea wayyyy back and since then Pakistan has been developing its nuclear program with Uranium and now Plutonium development paths. Even minitaurized weapons to tactical level size and has far greater access to modern nuclear tech, skilled scientists, and financial funding than North Korea

Yet Pakistan did not test any hydrogen weapon but North Korea did.

:)

Not exactly clandestine. It's an open secret. This is what rogue states do.

Pakistan has shown time and again that it doesn't deserve Nuclear Weapons. It's not a responsible enough Army to be trusted with such WMDs.
Pakistan have never attacked any Nation with nukes , USa has and yet it deserves to have biggest nuclear stock, what a neutral and responsible approach you have , plus Israel also have the right to have nukes coz she is occupying Palestine since decades, and so is India occupying Kashmir, wao what a civilization of occupiers and mass killers teaching world the humanity with out a shame and conscience

Like I said. You do what you gotta do. We will do what we gotta do.

So far your record of achievement is abysmal and ours is stellar.

Results speak for themselves.
of course, i know that humiliation of 800 years is still haunting you guys
and the worst thing is you cant do much about it all you can do is come to Pakistani forum and show your inferiority complex and ignorance

Shame that Hindutva has killed the Indian mind. If Muslims were the way they perceive them to be no Hindu would have been alive in India today. Hindutva have distorted history to a comical extend and one of their more sane attempts at distorting history has been to classify all muslim rulers especially Ghazni and Aurangzeb as criminals and murderers. Which is not true at all and thoroughly debunked by historians.

These ignorant Hindutva soldiers along with their hindutva masters are supporting a fascist regime in India. If not for the pre-partition muslim league politics and the considerable population of muslims in republic of India they would have treated the muslims left after partition in India no different then how the Buddhist fascist treat the Rohingya

made you a clean non prejudiced offer of making your point in a civil way and that it would be fairly considered on and debated on merit.

India building contacts with ISIS, al-Qaeda in Afghanistan
no-img-fb.jpg

ISLAMABAD: The Indian government is now working on building contacts with rogue groups in Afghanistan, including al-Qaeda and ISIS, reports from Afghanistan have revealed.
Earlier, the Indian intelligence had developed close relations with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and used it to mount attacks on important military installations in the country besides killing civilians. While close ties of Indian intelligence with the TTP still continue, unarguably with the blessings of certain senior operatives of the Afghan intelligence, the Indians are now focusing on ISIS and al-Qaeda operatives to use them against Pakistan.
In late 2014, Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval had visited Syria and Iraq on the pretext of assisting Indian External Affairs Ministry (EAM) in evacuation of stranded Indians. However, it was reported that the secret visit was used to create contacts with the leaderships of extremist groups. Meanwhile, the Indian consulate in Kandahar was utilised by the RAW for creating coordination between the TTP and ISIS elements.
Analysts say evidence is growing that while making common cause with terror groups present on the Afghan territory, the Indians are seeking to mount a new state-sponsored campaign of terror attacks in Pakistan. It is known that Narendra Modi in a speech in Bangladesh had confessed that the Indian establishment had created the Mukti Bahini in East Bengal to dismember Pakistan. The game continues with New Delhi exploiting sub-nationalists in Balochistan and Sindh.
By making use of the ISIS phenomenon in Afghanistan, RAW is also attempting to generate skepticism about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. It has been propagated by the ISIS/Al-Khorasan elements that a nuclear device will be bought from Pakistan.
India’s endeavours to replace the TTP with the ISIS is explicitly Pakistan, Afghanistan and China oriented. As the region is expected to witness increasing economic activities following building of the CPEC, India is desirous of countering such developments and curtailing the Chinese influence in the region with the ISIS phenomena.
TTP activists and disenchanted Taliban in Afghanistan are being lured to join the ISIS ranks, which is now called as “Al Khorasan” in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the highly successful Operation Zarb-e-Azb has greatly dented the TTP and its likes in Pakistan, eliminating scores of them and forcing others to flee to the western neighboring country.

'Everything allowed in Sharia is done here': Indian 'ISIS recruiter offers youngsters back home women in a bid to lure them into joining him in Afghanistan terror camps'
  • Abdul Rashid Abdulla, from Kerala, has allegedly been heard enticing young Indians to Afghanistan with promises of virgin wives or widows of slain militants
  • In the heavily encrypted tapes uncovered by India Today, he 'promotes' life in ISIS terror camps where housing and all of life's luxuries are provided
  • According to top security officials, Abdulla took 17 people from Kasargod and four from Palakkad in Kerala to ISIS camps in Afghanistan
  • And in January, the NIA named him a key motivator for the terror outfit in India
  • Some 75 people have been arrested across India for suspected links with ISIS

Pakistan on Wednesday conveyed to the United States that India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS) are patronising terrorists groups to attack soft targets in the country.

National Security Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua conveyed the message to US ambassador David Hale in a meeting today, said the statement released by the office of the NSA.

The meeting was held to discuss the terrorist attack on Police Training College Quetta, counter-terrorism operations and cross-border attacks.

Janjua also emphasised on the need to break the nexus between terrorists groups operation under the supervision of NDS and RAW.

Pakistan has asked for US assistance to tackle the situation.

The NSA informed the ambassador that the terrorists who attacked the police training college were constantly in contact with their leadership and handlers in Afghanistan.

The American ambassador was also briefed by the NSA on Pakistan’s efforts to improve the current security situation in the country through implementation of the National Action Plan.

Hale, on the occasion, condemned the attack in Quetta and offered his regrets. He also offered American support for the same.

Quetta carnage
Heavily-armed militants wearing suicide vests stormed a police academy in Quetta, killing at least 61 people and wounding at least 117, in the deadliest attack on a security installation in the country's history.

Three gunmen burst into the sprawling academy, targeting sleeping quarters home to some 700 recruits, and sent terrified young men aged between 15 and 25 fleeing.

Communication intercepts showed the attack was carried out by Al-Alimi faction of the Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LJ) militant group, IG Frontier Corps (FC) Major General Sher Afgan said.

Separately, the militant Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack, according to the group's Amaq news agency. The training centre houses at least 600 cadets. — AP

Most of the deaths were caused when two of the attackers blew themselves up. The third was shot dead by Frontier Corps (FC) troops.
