Give it up PTI fans and just enjoy the tamasha. And there will be plenty of it. Nawaz Sharif's miraculous recovery will be just the start. Hope he is on his next flight back. Sight of convicted criminal walking around unmolested will be a good indication of where we stand.
I am going to enjoy watching becharay puppoo Pakistanis thinking country will turn into a bastion of law and order, milk and honey, Switzerland of South Asia now that we have supremacy of constitution. A parliamentary democracy to rule them all.
My sympathy for Imran Khan is in proportion to to the pain I feel for my countrymen who deserve so much better. Imran Khan is equally as responsible for our current predicament as the opposition gangs of thieves, murderers and other assorted crooks in the ghaddar camp. Imran Khan claims to be student of history and politics but says something about his acumen that he did not see this coming. Thieves can only prosper when judiciary is bent. But who was it that gave carte blanche to judiciary in the first place? Who was it that made heroes of scumbags like Faez Issa, Athur Minallah and and Iftikhar Chaudrhy whose cause was taken up by the very family that had actually physically attacked the judiciary? Imran made his bed. He must lie on it. It will be a miracle if he can avoid the fate of Bhutto.
As for Bajwa, what can you say? Head of one of the most powerful armies in the world meeting clandestinely with the very people who have dragged his name through keechar. Abay itna confidence hai to mill logoan say khula baazar may. Story of Ali Baba and chalees chor does come to mind. He probably has a sweet deal from all sides so will soon disappear into oblivion where his name will live in infamy.
For Pakistanis - period of hurt and pain. Initially there will be kumbaya but after everyone has had their fill, there will have to be governance. And this will open faultlines because those who develop a semblance of conscience will want to govern and their paths will cross with those who want to steal. Enter khufiya forces. Lather, rinse repeat.
I can only hope that in the senior ranks there is an Ayub, Zia or Musharraf. Until then enjoy the show. Bilalwal/Putin and Diesel/Xi should be good for a few laughs. We will really need it
