Read the post again,......'Conduction cooled to frame has offsets, air-cooled to exterior is better alternative but not w/o problems. Higher end RF electronics will still need liquid PAO coolant.' Conduction cooling is different from air-cooling altogether. Air cooling is better, avoids conduction. Air-cooled radars are not totally air-cooled. High output conductors still would need liquid conduction which does take space but a lot lesser than older ones. Should be okay for FC1.

What i am thinking is that we might get KLJ7a for block 3 due to possible engine modification . KLJ7a really needs a high power, not that current thunders cant generate it but yea i guess rd93 will be further modified for block 3 to generate more power so klj7a seems to fit there whereas for existing blocks , this air cooled system which need comparitively less power due to lack of liquid cooling system can fit into existing blocks so that they could match the current power generation too.. Sorry to sound immature as i am no Aviation guru but how much do you agree with me? Plus this new system is not that much powerful compared to KLJ7A and provides a bit less range

Cash .. we don't have money, I am expecting some order of Fighters after the budget, or by end of this year

PAF will need 3-4B $in 2years for a new fighter

if you want f-16 mix of old and new use the arab card and you can get them on cash
if you want a euro fighter use the saudi card again and you get a mix of old and new on cash
if you want the j-10, that is easy
if you want a flanker its complicated

problem:
1. we dont have cash for PAF(we do have them for army)
2. we have made our relation worse with GCC for no reason (or to keep Iran happy, a lady that cant be kept happy no matter what) giving india a chance to consolidate in region that has 1.5 trillion economy and immense political power

it is not the matter of iran but our own unity in the society and the armed forces . shites are in a large number in our society and in armed forces as well. sending military to this saudi led terrorist organization will have detrimental effects on our own society as it will have negative effects on the religious emotions of a large chunk of our population. we have already suffered a lot by fighting others wars for the sake of dollars.
the best approach is " to give the dog a bone" . give these saudis some sort of military training and little help but never send your military to fight their bloody war. it will be a havoc.

we should only support the one who is "principally correct". we supported the majority after 9/11 and look what we got? but it takes lot of moral strength, unity in nation and faith in Allah to stand for the principles and unfortunately we lag behind in all these areas.

If the J10 was easy .........Why you flying over 200 obsolete junk fighters like mirages & F7

There will be no arab money to buy PAF a decent combat plane for free

And J10C will cost $$$$ and loans with interest charges from china

Accept or not, we have only handful f-16 to counter su-30 and rafails, we need a multi task fully loaded j. 10 B type fighter to attack deep targets in india

Su30 is a flying elephant with a radar cross section of a spaceship.
Its primarily to counter China with long range deep strike roles and long ranged Air superiority.
It stand no chance in densly defended hostile teritory against small fighters with low RCS.
Su30 is nothing outworldish to worry about.
Rafale is a worry. But its pretty far away and not in significant numbers to pose a genuine threat.
