He suspended the taxes because it was a regressive tax that hurt the poor the most. So now he's saying a regressive tax is ok if the money goes towards some dam project? If it's a regressive tax then it doesn't matter how the money is spent it needs to be stopped.

BTW dawn has an article about our previous dam projects which shows that there is a lot of corruption in these projects and many of these dams don't meet their goal. Also the Diamer-Bhasha dam is vulnerable to earthquakes because it's site is on a seismic faultline.

If its remains optional for mobile users then this initiative is very effective & peoples like me to activate this tax as per their own wish.

An even more basic question is when and how did the Supreme Court get legal authority to repeal and impose taxes?
