Yes right...there wouldn't be any rise of Hindutva without creating the required hatred and fear factor...this I have written in another forum(below)


There is a renaissance of Hinduism(Hindutva) in India/Hindustan....the reason Pulwama, Uri, Pathankot, earlier Mumbai, Train bomb blasts, Samjhauta express(Pakistani and Indians killed) Rath Yatras, Ayodhya, Babri mosque happened as this was all required to create hate and radicalization(Hindus and Muslims going the opposite direction) ... earlier Hindus were appalled at the Muslim appeasement done by secular Congress and other smaller parties.


So for the revival of RSS extremism(people moving away from left to right wing parties) all the mentioned incidences written above was necessary. The more divisive politics of VHP, Bajrang Dal, RSS to be successful, the more hatred for Pakistan and Muslims too is necessary, why this shift in India in political culture...the reason above mentioned incidences are needed, they divide the nation and even educated secular people starts supporting RSS and VHP type extremist parties, BJP is a political wing with lots of RSS cadres like Modi, Yogi, Nitin Gadkari and others....

A bigger common enemy, a perceived danger like Pakistan/Muslim invading India/Muslim outnumbering Hindus in India is/was needed to start the Hinduism renaissance and revision and make it relevant, Pakistan is the perfect common denominator here and fits in almost at many places...Blame it on Pakistan and stay relevant.

For me personally, people may disagree, his rise to power has destroyed the myth and very carefully build narrative around Pakistani society as being some sort of blood thirsty, highly extremist and non compromising lot. Someone like him with such past, to be send to the power corridors of Pakistan, though the power of vote, that is such a knock out punch for those who throughout years painting Pakistan in a certain tone and colour.

Political mullah hate him. The purely religious ones are cautiously optimistic or just watching from distance. And those who are from spiritual branch of Islam, I think they are pretty much aligned with him (his third marriage to a spiritual lady).

People seem to forget that Modi has a somewhat unique place and stature, in the list of the major political leaders, not only of today, but also for some past time.
