CIA website Hacked

.
hacking the public website and hacking the CIA are two very different things...sheesh

.
Boy, I just recieved my 1st mission already.
Did it happen so fast with you as well?
Ummm...That is a test. Everybody must be screened for their best skills, even when a person does not know what he/she is good at.

The mission is set for maximum deniability. If things go wrong you are on your own

This message will self destruct in 10 secs

Could be a false flag to get the hackers, a reason to get the hackers.

agreed with you there

they (the hackers) are just giving more reasons to authorities for their capture.
CIA will use its muscle and charms arround the world to corner them and them make them regret it.
I am merely making a statement based on similar stories in the past. I am not making a judgement on who is right or wrong.

Absolutely not. Dr. Evil must have seen something worthwhile in you. Congrats.
As he has seen in every American. YOUR words not mine.
BTW sorry for such a long delay. I was grilled for the last 5 hours and though they say I failed the test, I smell something cooking here.

Think about this for a moment. People here believe the CIA can do anything, from controlling the world economies to even controlling people's minds. But the CIA website can be so easily 'hacked'.

The website probably serves static pages only. Its not a portal that you see in movies with the big CIA logo on agents' laptops. Its a piece of cake to do it and if you are doing it from a country where the CIA doesn't have any reach its easy to get away with it as well.

Significance? Good haha factor and some bragging rights among hackers with no social life. DDoS is no biggy, but those hackings done last year on Pentagon infrastructure possibly by China was a big deal.

It was not strictly hacked. a denial of service attack is easy to manage if you get enough machines to send requests and down the server. anonymous is known to have done this before too..

Type "illuminati" in reverse & add . com to it & see the website u'll be directed to :)

itanimulli.com

I ran across a little snippet that I thought was interesting. It seems that when you visit Itanimulli.us (Illuminati spelled backwards) it takes you to the White Houses's website: WhiteHouse.gov. Also when you visit Itanimulli.com, it takes you to the National Security Agency's website NSA.gov.

Some people want to make a conspiracy out of this, and want to know why the White House and the NSA would want an Illuminati domain to point back to their respective sites. This answer took me 1 minute to solve. The answer is that it's not their domain.

I went to GoDaddy.com and did a Who-Is search for the domain's to find out who the owners are. They are owned by a two different dudes. I normally would not post someone's name and address, but in this case it is public information and is directly relevant. This is all public information that is easily accessible to anyone wanting to know.

Itanimulli.us is owned by:
Scott Lamb
25 Venita Drive
Athens, Georgia 30606
United States
GoDaddy search results: Link

Itanimulli.com is owned by:
John Fenley
1985N 360E
Provo, Utah 84604-1803
United States
GoDaddy search results: Link

All that is going on here is this: These two guys bought the addresses, and then did a redirect for each domain. They simply made Itanimulli.us forward visitors to WhiteHouse.gov, and Itanimulli.com forward visitors to NSA.gov.

Mystery solved. Nothing nefarious here. Just practical jokers creating an internet myth.

This is from another website:

Bottom line? It doesn’t matter WHO owns the domain name and “redirects it”. THE QUESTION SHOULD BE WHY was this done to begin with?? What would “possess” Mr. Fenley to do this deed in the first place? More to-the-point however, is simply why would the NSA not strenuously object to this happening? Furthermore, ATT&T and “GoDaddy.com” may be more closely linked than many would think at first glance.

Here is one of the responses of the post that I liked?

Why would you provide a link to the NSA knowing they install tracking cookies that can’t be removed?

There is a lot more on that website which is generally regarded as conspiracy stories. I have posted only the relevant bits.

Does the Pakistan government have a website? Or does Zardari have a website. If yes, why not hack it and make it redirect to whitehouse.gov or IMF or WB whenever anyone visits it. lol
