your figures are wrong 150 out of 543 MPs have criminal records. that makes aprrox 20-22% of MPs

not convicted though!! maybe they have charges against them. but the fact of the matter is.. in india now everything comes to public knowledge. corruption & cime is not new to indian political system. but now you got nowhere to hide!! it's just that people are more aware & knowledgeble about their leaders in today's date. 'cause of new laws like RTI, you can not keep anything away from public knowledge. voters do make independant choice now.. as they did in the case of bihar. would be interesting see upcoming state elections.

The news did not amaze me..
I am quite sure in coming years there will be tons of parties coming up in each state...
This will only detonate vote banks of congress,thus one day making it smallest party in India.

i m not a hardcore supporter of congress but i don't think coming up of new political parties will affect congress much.

i dont know about MPs but i am talking about bihar MLAs. in earlier times in bihar there use to b jungle raj with almost all politician criminal. but in this election with fall of lalu and paswan and rise of nitish almost all MLAs dont have criminal recorjd.

there will be no campaign, congress very well know that elections are due in 2014, so they will sort out everything before 2013 & then in last year of governance they will come up with big announcements & schemes. & as u know very well the famous quote in politics " janta ki yad dasht bahut kamzor hoti hai"

but we r youth of 21st century. we will make congress pay for each of its ill deeds.

i think Congress has a strong standing specially when it has more than double digit rivals

not a big fan of democracy so dunno if it is good or bad..
but congress is getting harmed in each state every year...
like in Maharashtra Rashtravadi congress has emerged as biggest party...

surely people will do come on roads but again its not going to affect the political scene much for many years to come.

Might be after few decades but again the inflation and other such factors will be adding up to the prevailing trend

No guys ure wrong here.
There is nationwide campaign going on in our country against corruption.
Its just that media is not giving proper covering to this campaign.
Like i said earlier, we would see the result of this campaign within 2 years, when hardcore nationalistic govt. would come to the center and these corrupt fagots would land up into jail.
1 more thing. this present govt. wont be able to serve its full term.

yes indeed..
and state's first 4 lane highway was built recently in bihar...
nitishji planned to give cycle to every school or college going gal...many said government should give contract to cycle makers...but nitishji knew how these contracts work and who actually gets benefited from them...so he decided to give money directly to gals so that they can buy cycles...This is how things should work..

this move will hurt christians in long run..they don't realise what they are doing..they are making the job of hindu religious parties easier..it's happening in kerala also..too much insolvent of church in politics.i have only one thing to say to them ' don't complaint when hindus do the same '.

Very bad idea. I dont know about TN, but if they launch this party in Kerala, its gonna fail big time. I dont think Christians in Kerala even consider this party.
