I have posted a refutation to his claims (refer to post 28 onwards), and would really like to discuss this issue with him.

There are also other threads where he has initiated anti-Islamic discussions, and I would like to answer him there also.

Any chance of you reversing your decision?

People like him are not interested in discourse or understanding the other side - their sole purpose is to defame, spout hate and vilify the other.

While your attempts at clearing misinterpretations and distortions are laudable, what we have seen is that the discourse inevitable turns ugly, as insults, lies and hate speech pile on and incite similar responses from others.

You are however free to pursue posting on the issues he raised - perhaps even start a new thread, and I'll move the related posts over there.

There are other non-Muslim and Muslim members who would no doubt be glad to continue the discourse in a civil manner, in an attempt to foster understanding of each others POV.

A lot of people in any 3rd world country could ve killed a man having "mazzay lootay" with their sister. religion has nothing to do with that.

In india, this couple were paraded naked in the street because the girl married a low cast hindu so go figure. In Chicago, a hindoo had his black daughter in law assassinated. Stories like these are a dime a dozen. So, the hindus here need to chill.

I must applaud your post. It's the first time I have heard someone speak up for someone holding an opposing view and ask the other persons account to be unbanned so that a debate could go on.

BTW, I also liked your post #28. I am not convinced that the system you talk about will ever work in the current world, but nevertheless, thanks for explaining the logic behind the system. It has a beauty to it.

whats the big hype with jizya, non muslims would pay jizya and muslims would pay zakat. In practice muslims (zakat) would pay more than non muslims (jizya). Your point is therefore irrelevant.

Sir, religion is what it's adherents practice. If the adherents of religion do not practice religion, can we then not say that such a religion does not exist?? Religion cannot be just a label, if one is not motivated by, has not internalized the ethics and morality which is the core of the Guidance, can we not assert that either these are not adherents or there is something deficient in the understanding of religion?

Mahdi or Khalifa will not make a better muslim, that only a individual free muslim can CHOOSE to be.
