There were reasons by way of due legal process why the attack could not initially be referred to as an act of terrorism. The investigation is ongoing, and invoking New Zealand's Terrorism Suppression Act is a complex process. But it will eventuate, the authorities can't just point a finger and say 'it must be terrorism'.

Have in mind people that "Daniel John Burrough" is not Brenton Tarrant (the shooter that did the livestream), but a second suspect, 18 years old. We don't know yet if he even took part in the shootings, this might be a different case all-together (maybe an arrest for incitement to violence?).

There are some interesting points made about what will happen to the perpetrators in jail. I don't think our penitentiary system is prepared to deal with these terrorists, we don't have an equivalent to the US federal supermax facility in Colorado. They need to be kept isolated indefinitely with no contact with the outside world so they don't connect with any sympathizers here or abroad.

Imposing & enforcement the commandments are forbidden in Islam. And jihad is Arabic word which means struggle, struggle can have many forms. We struggle & hardwork for our family, we struggle to get higher education. We struggle against atrocities etc.

Right now we should struggle to convince the west to ban white right wing social media contents, hates content etc. It means jihad (struggle).
