We try hard to promote our films and song in europe and north america,(not that we shouldn't) , but middle east, africa and SE asia are also good market. Such covers should be encouraged.

I cant comment on whether Chinese are watching Indian serials or not but I seriously doubt Indians know Wuxia. This is the first time I am hearing about it.

There are thousands of Indians on PDF. These are people with internet connction and reasonable grasp of English. It means that they are very well familiar with the culture and programs outside India. I can openly challenge you and @rcrmj to start a poll on PDF among Indians to know what is Wuxia and if any of them have seen it or not

We are very familiar with Jakie Chan and Bruce Lee - propably because they got popular via hollywood.

No, we have never tried to promote our Films and Songs anywhere. It has grown organically and surprised Bollywood. If anything there were articles by Africans and others that they were dissuaded from meeting Bollywood stars abroad because the security cordon around the stars just could not believe that Bollywood actors could have fans not of Indian nationality.

I have a theory where ever ancient India footprint is there Bollywood and Indian culture immediately finds a home. Latin countries, SE Asia, Africa, East Europe including Russia, Central Asia, Middle East all these are natural consumer base for Bollywood.

Western Europe and North America is a bit different and sentimentalism does not work there, they are more into fast paced action movies and songs, and Bhangra kind of Punjabi heavy beat music works there more than melodic songs or sentimental movies. You can try and try and would never be able to make most North Americans understand the value of our dance or filmy music. They can't understand it and turn tone deaf when they hear it.

All the action/martial art flicks Indian watched from childhood are Chinese, youtube has tonnes of Chinese movies dubbed in Hindi and other Indian languages.

Japanese restaurants aren't found in top hotels in India, I just checked. lol

They may do it for Business purpose- I don't think you read what I wrote- and anyway the number of people who don't have to work and are rich enough is not even 1% of India- How does that make Chinese popular in India-

Lol- Bollywood hardly leaves the space and now local movie industries are giving tough competition to Bollywood- Then comes Hollywood biggies like Titanic- never heard of any Chinese movie- Yes there was one Tony Ja series which became popular due to elephant in It- Could you quote some Chinese movie which did well in India-

There are Japanese restaurants- Sushi and other Japanese dishes are very popular among super rich whom you were claiming Chinese lovers-
