Chinese Viewers Can't Get Enough of Indian TV Shows

I was not talking about English- English is just like second language of India everyone learns that and Its taught in Schools- I was talking about other western languages like German, Spanish, French, Russian(lots of Indian learn Russian just by interacting with Russians)-

Again- I repeat the Jobless youth of India cannot afford to go and learn chinese in China just for hobby or personal reasons- The costs are too high- unless there's Job available for them- that too I think is very less number- It It were to be popular- we would've had Chinese teaching centers in India- like we have for other languages-

One reason could be highly popular Indian movies in China which bring lots of $$$-

Obviously only those from affluent family can afford to study language overseas. Which is why they don't have to worry about funding and job later.

Chinese is indeed becoming popular in India, google it.

.
I am sorry to burst all your bubbles but Indian culture is not open-minded as you like to claim here neither is Chinese culture. Asia including India and China is a gigantic shit hole full of close minded people with boring lifestyles centred around very few aspects. They don't know how to make life worth living. Whereas in the west, lifestyle is very dynamic and almost everyone tries make most of it. Which is one of the reasons why it's still an attractive place for immigrants.

.
Authentic Chinese would be mistaken as Dog food by Indians- forget about Hindus even Muslim will stay away from that-

Chinese restaurants are there but they are not much popular when compared to other foreign restaurants like McDonalds or KFC or even Subway- One I remember seeing is YoChina I don't know If Its Chinese but usually I found it sitting on Top floors of the malls and very little Business-

I know you're trying your best to deny it, but in this internet age, you won't get very far. Chinese restuarants are found in top hotels in India.

.
Those figures are box office sales, audience who pay to watch, nothing to do with cost of production. LOL.
It is common sense, if Chinese movies are being made in China where COL is very high then their cost of production too will be very high. So a 50 million dollar earning for Chinese home production is nothing to talk about but a 20 million dollar earning for a foreign film made in a much cheaper region is far more profit and big deal.

Affluent families usually have their own businesses to worry about- Could be their Business interest driving them- Chinese market cannot be ignored-

No indication off Chinese become much popular here- Earlier people in cities would watch Jakie Chan movie and think It as Chinese but that came in English so people didn't bother about the language-

More Indians are interested in Japanese due to manga- or even Korean for the TV shows- I can't collect what Chinese is popular so that people will learn the language-

Even Japanese restaurants are found in almost all top hotels- But It is not popular-

.
But there are so many high end Chinese restaurant in India, you can find them in all 5 star hotels.

Adapted Chinese food is still Chinese, Indian just kick up the spiciness. In the US, they make it sweeter.

Point is, India love Chinese food.
We love Indian Chinese food and it is not just the spiciness which is notched up. It is made entirely different way.

I repeat, those figures are box office collection, do you even understand? Surely you don't.

I understand those are box office collection. Even Dangal's earnings so far are box office collection only. None of Chinese earnings have so far been on merchandise unlike Hollywood.

No, only the poor had to make ends meet. The affluent people have staff to run their businesses, their children doesn't need to work.

All the action/martial art flicks Indian watched from childhood are Chinese, youtube has tonnes of Chinese movies dubbed in Hindi and other Indian languages.

Japanese restaurants aren't found in top hotels in India, I just checked. lol

Those figures are all box office only. Lie busted!

English is the international business language. Chinese not quite there, hard to learn as well. Most of them learn Chinese for cultural and personal reason.
Some Singaporeans migrate overseas, usually Australia or Canada, because their children got problem learning Chinese. LKY made Chinese a compulsory subject for ethnic Chinese Singaporean students.

I believe the word is Chinjabi.

The cheap vans found in most corners of, or at least in major hubs all across north India for sure can be hit or miss, the good ones are really good. Gobi Manchurian, chilli chicken/chowmien

There's also a big and growing market for the real stuff and lots of high end dining options everywhere.

Japanese restaurants aren't found in top hotels in India, I just checked. lol
True, Japanese food isn't nearly as big as Chinese in India, in fact it's not even close.

Chinjabi is ubiquitous, the chilli chicken is culturally almost at butter chicken/naan level, and like I said, there's lots of proper Chinese too, at least here in Delhi.

Japanese food and sushi bars/yakitori grills have been gaining in popularity among the trendies (upper middle/rich) but I find it disgusting.

My 120 rupee Gobi Manchurian kicks the shit out of some pretentious 120 $ raw fish in sticky rice cakes :bad:

There are Indian things that the Chinese like, and Chinese things that are popular with the Indians.
At present Chinese things sought after by Indians create a $50 billion difference in China's favor.
Its good that Dangal the movie is able to earn some MEGA bucks for India. Hopefully more of it will help dissipate some of the animosity between China and India.
Keep it up, I mean doing things that will please the Chinese.

WTF are you talking about? I said Dangal's collection are box office collections too. So what lie did you bust? Or was it a vein you busted in your head.

We don't mind buying Chinese stuff after all China is using its slave labor and ruining its environment to become the factory of the world. Such sacrifice to produce goods for the world needs to be rewarded so even we throw money at your face. :partay:

My co-worker from India hates sushi too. Indian don't generally like fish or raw fish, I guess.
