Whether it is true or not....Indian has an eye on Pakistan always that is for sure.....Of course China would be helping Pakistan...Now China seems to be the new master of Pakistan...

The way they're going, Pakistan will soon become PAR - Pak Autonomous Region of China like TAR! As it is, 11,000 PLA and Chinese workers have already permanently established themselves in G/B. Gwadar has been handed over and now they're establishing themselves near the IB in J&K on the pretext of 'training' the PA!!!

BRISBANE: Government on Saturday downplayed reports that Chinese troops were training Pakistan Army personnel right across the India-Pakistan border in J&K.

External affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin when asked to comment on reports in this regard, said the National Security Adviser Ajit Doval is here as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's delegation and that he would be seized of the matter.

The spokesperson also said there was no mention of the reported training by the Chinese troops when Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping met informally during a BRICS meeting today ahead of the G20 summit.

Brisbane: The Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday downplayed reports of Chinese troops training Pakistan Army personnel right across the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir.

So the whole thing is a media concoction, much like all that nonsense about the non-existent "Border Action Teams" - these are either regular units or insurgents - the PA doesn't suffer from a lack of manpower, that might require teaming highly trained special forces with a rag-tag bunch of militants who may or may not have the necessary discipline to obey orders under pressure during highly dangerous operations in challenging terrain.

While the clarification on the part of the Indian MEA is appreciated, I think they could be a lot stronger in their language in dismissing these kinds of claims and criticizing the media for running unsubstantiated stories that only serve to promote animosity in the general public towards the other country.

On a serious note, it is possible that the PA and PLA may have held some small scale joint exercises in the region, though I am not aware of any official notification being issued regarding such exercises.
