no, its not a lie, a vacuum was observed in this sector and sialkot sector, this one was feasible and probably was going to give indians direct air access to afghanistan if not more...
moreover it is disputed territory, so it was going to raise little international protest of indian activity...

What is 'far more than a friend'? As you said Pakistan army called in Chinese to stop so called Indian invasion has nothing to do with friendship or any other relationship. US and NATO soldiers already based in Pakistan does that mean they have closer relationship with Pakistan than China?

these sort of military tactics usually donot have a link source that you want me to provide, if they happen they become news, otherwise unknown to majority, known to the circles directly effected...

more than a friend means a sort of big brother....the one who helps you, when some trys to bully you in school.
I dont know any NATO presence in PAKistan, however our strategic relations with both the countries are different, there is no point of comparison...
