What's new

Chinese troops have erected tents 19km inside Indian territory: Govt

.
If Chinese soldiers did make a camp inside Indian-controlled territory, this is a huge blow for the Indian Army. If enemy can come into your occupied area, then this is going to raise some serious questions about your 'defense' on borders.

.
That could be one reason.. though Indian govt didn't take it as dick measuring competition.

It's just watching the only person standing naked.

I like one thing about the situation.

China is standing without cover having shown its card. But India didnt do any knee jerk reaction, but is planning the downfall of PLA with meticulous planning..

This could be worse move of China...:suicide:

China shown its true color just too soon... this incident now leaves no doubt in Indian's mind about true Chinese intentions...

Now China doesn't know in what form, at what time and at which place India would respond.. the possibilities are endless..;)

I guess they are those soldiers who are fed up of communist atrocities and want to get an Asylum in India, they cannot get a direct permission so that's why no other option left :P :)

if your foriegn policy and action toward intruder is so like the present case

you will also become one like them with tiny small states divided

The intrusion happened in 1959 when PLA surreptitiously encroached upon Aksai chin (part of ladakh), when the border areas were unmanned.. using the Tibetan territory they annexed before further moving into Aksai chin.

If the encroachment were to weaken India's resolve or anything else, you would have seen those "tiny states" already.

Indian govt response to the latest incident is both measured and mature.

The basic thing is that the so-called "china's side" of the LAC is also Indian territory. The issue is already under negotiation.

It is also in china's interest to stick to negotiations. The latest incident doesn't change the basic issue at all - that Ladakh was never a part of Tibet, leave alone china.

By this weak act, china has literally confessed that it is quite a bit shaken by conventional parity along the undemarkated Indo-Tibet border. However, these fears are naive because India doesn't intend to settle the borders with a violent conflict.

It's in best interest of both countries to continue negotiations. The unwise step by some restless and worried junior level chinese commander was a mistake and should be reversed.

Congrats to all the Chinese and CCP...they successfully gained the Enmity of India for another 50 years...:enjoy:

Don't mess with the Dragon. It will hone its claws and cut the elephant inside out.

. . . .
NOT A GOOD SITUATION

ESPECIALLY AGAINST A FAR RICHER MORE POWERFUL NATION LIKE CHINA

need to tred carefully

. .
Dragon is a myth. Elephant is a reality. So its better that fake creatures don't mess with super creatures.

I see what you mean by myth.

The PRC is a miracle itself. Bringing the myth to reality
to reality.
