They were never Muslims to begin with. A few of them honestly accepted Islam, the were called the razakars and they were mostly killed or kicked out. Rest of them are Hindus with Hindu language and culture.

[QUOTE =“Dungeness,post:11529441,member:172203”]罗兴人,才是最近孟加国人之所以反华的问题所在。[/ QUOTE]
也就是中国支持缅甸政府的立场所以被孟加拉排斥了?

Bangladesh: It has hosted 1.3 million Rohingya refugee camps in the country and has since expelled Rohingya several times.
China: Supporting the position of the Myanmar government and arguing that Rohingya people have members of terrorist groups.
Russia: Supporting the position of the Myanmar government and arguing that the Rohingya people have members of a terrorist group.
Japan: Supporting the position of the Myanmar government and arguing that Rohingya people have members of terrorist groups.
South Korea: Support the position of the Myanmar government and believe that Rohingya people have members of terrorist groups.
India: Supporting the position of the Burmese government and expelling Rohingya refugees from the country, and claiming that the Rohingya people pose a national security threat.
Malaysia: Expelling Rohingya, but hopes that the Myanmar government will improve the treatment of Rohingya.
Indonesia: Expelling Rohingya, but hopes that the Myanmar government will improve the treatment of Rohingya.
Philippines: Support the position of the Myanmar government and expel the Rohingya.
Thailand: Support the position of the Myanmar government and expel the Rohingya.
Non-Islamic countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations: Persuaded by the Philippines and Russia to support the position of the Burmese government and expel the Rohingya.

Bro, I strongly disagree with you on this. Like every Muslim country, they have practising and non practising Muslims. Please do not generalise.

These brothels are 200 years old. Starting from British period. As BD is the proponent of British laws, it cant discard these all of a sudden. Some are closed. If Pak is so Muslim why they werent closed in that period. There were brothels in old Dhaka, under patronage of Muslim Nawabs. BD's first silent movie (The Last Kiss) of 1931 where women actually acted were brought from these brothels along with them, Dhaka Nawab family males also took part or produced. The above one is from Tangail Brothel, this area was administered by another prominent Nawab. You can assume this area flourished under his patronage . Asia's one of the largest brothel is in WB India named Sonagachi is named after a notorious Muslim Dacoit Sona Gazi. So you can see these brothels are close to Muslim tradition even before the creation of Pakistan/BD/India :azn:

Indian jack-arse, the topic is about BD not PK. Get the F* out of here if you want to derail/divert this thread. Why have you posted BBC garbage links about PK here? The topic is BD not PK.

Before getting riled up read the comments by a pakistani member in this very thread demeaning bangladeshi nation as a whole...the first video is from india and the second is from your country...just to show its prevalent everywhere...if i was biased i would have posted 2-3 videos from pakistan...i did not do that did i ? Look in the mirror before you start spewing garbage from your mouth next time.

And whats with BBC anyway...you guy start tens of threads with BBC articles if it suites you...and a bunch of your lot come and thank the thread started as well...if the tables turn you change color like a chameleon and start abusing BBC.

Many of the girls interviewed in the documentary signed a deed, and all their freedom was controlled by the brothel boss, the equivalent of a slave who signed the contract. So is this lifelong contract legal in Bangladesh?

Any contract where someone is enslaved for life is illegal by default. However. these girls are taken advantage for lack education and misguidance. Most girls won't find life outside the brothel easy because of the stigma.
