What's new

Chinese Stealth fighter J-XX

From the 4th(black & white) photo it seems like a copy of Raptor. If they are up to some thing stealth fighter, then don't let me stop it. As USAF is flying the F-22, China and Russia both need to unveil there stealth fighter plan.

but i guess they are just cool pics for the time being! waht we want is a cool plane!!hope it will come soon,,

regards!

I m not wondered at this 80's stuff.Look Raptor project initiated in 80's so i can expect Chinese doing the same in 90's these pic are of 90's I think and it seems like F-22 cuz at that time JXX present base (J-10) was not there May be J-9 project would be present at time chinese would had choses to take the risk of redesign like they hav recently done in J-13

The wings of this fighter are too convertional. its like you put a futuristic fusaloge with a 70's style wing, it does not look right. I think China should make a F-22 type wing design.

total stealth is not what might be required like in case of F-22 with 44500$ maintainence for each hour of flight dont think chinese are want such a fancy thing J-XX has an excellent design for high manuverbility its gonna rock the skies mark my words:enjoy:

well guys these pics are around for quite long, what do u think about them.To me they look quite real,if such a thing exist, what is its state of progress???

I've found the following information in Sinodefence-:victory:

In 1997, the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) reported that an advanced F-22-class twin-engine stealth fighter XXJ was being developed by 601 Institute and Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC). In 2001, an Internet source photo showed a F-22-like aircraft model was being tested in a wind tunnel at 601 Institute. At the same time, it was revealed that 611 Institute was also working its own advanced fighter aircraft design, possibly based on the design and technology of its J-10 fighter.:coffee:
There has been speculations China’s fourth-generation fighter could enter service as early as 2015. However, designing and developing a fighter of this class will involve huge amount of investment and technology advancement across many fields, including new materials, high-performance aero-engine, avionics, flight control software, stealth technology, computer-aid design and manufacture (CAD/CAM).:coffee:
Russian Sukhoi Company (JSC), which has developed close ties with Shenyang over the licensed co-production of its Su-27SK fighter as J-11, has been reportedly working with Shenyang in developing the next-generation fighter technology and sub-systems.:china:

I think it's gonna be a great jet as comparable in abilities like F-22 Raptor when it's come out. By the Americans are not GOD that they make things out of this world that no other can make that kind of product or Jet.

^^ lol...comparable to f-22

china cant even make a jet comparable to the 20 year old f-16 and you are talking about comparing it to f-22....lolz
