Oh yes we are grateful to you for making Pakistan . If not for Pakistan, India today would have exploded in civil wars. Maybe the older generations were nostalgic and sad about partition but the current lot are clear that whatever happened was a blessing in disguise.

WTF!! why would I claim that? The land was always there as a part of the thousands of years old geographical and cultural entity called India, in 1947 it was merely renamed. That land is indeed thousands of years old the name is not.

Forget about 2001...Even under Musharraf rule after 9/11....we were doing better...
Pakistan faced invasions of her neighbor Afghanistan twice....Once in 1979 and then in 2001...Still...we tried our best to do better...
We are on our track, again...Once we get connected with Turkiye and CARS through road..We will regain our lost glory back...

The real point is you were marginally better than India in terms of per capita economic state during the 80's. Neither of us were never rich countries after the Brits.
Under Musharraf you started having positive growth rates which was again lost.
In 1979 only the Soviets were fighting Afghan militias. Your real downfall happened when you started using proxies for clearing up political agenda. It was more like taking loans to cover another loan. This back fired at yourselves.

Point being is Pakistan never ever got scared from India despite being smaller in manpower and size. Pakistan lead once and will lead again.

Real point is. Pakistan is no longer seen as a threat to India. Neither economically nor militarily.
You are contradicting yourself. Older generations may have been hopeful of reunion of India and Pakistan and hence the delusion of Akhanda Bharat. If anyone today talks of Union with Pakistan he would be mocked as insane. The benefits of partition were seen with time. Apparently Jinnah was more visionary than Nehru and Gandhi. He should be awarded Bharat Ratna for saving India.
1984 and 1992 were long time back. India has moved on and maturing as a democracy. Same cannot be said of Pakistan.
Our youth does not care for Pakistan but for the terrorism emanating from your country and hurting our interests. Leave us alone and we'll leave you alone. We would like to maintain status quo even though we have an upper hand in every field compared to you.
