Chinese Special Operation Team Wins First Position At International Special Forces Contest ~ Chinese Military Review

.
Cool is this one of those things like the World baseball classic and Olympic basketball, where the US is trying to have fun and an Asian team take it way too seriously?

.
The Warrior contest is between special operations and law enforcement units from around the world to test their counter-terrorism operations, marksmanship and physical abilities, along with other special operations training.

I don't think regular armed forces units are involved. For example, the US team that took part was the US International Defence Systems team.

But anyway, CONGRATS to the Chinese team for taking pole position!

Change the title to reflect that Chinese CAPF teams won both first and second place.

Pretty impressive considering they can't use any familiar firearms since the contest mandates eveyone use NATO standard ammunition.

Probably not as this was at KASOTC, a 200 million dollar training complex that is likely the best in the World.

Congratulations!:china:

Probably not in a para military event like this. Even in the Olympic basketball competitions when they lost to Europe, the nation was alarmed and started taking it on with a lot more seriousness

.
No,they are not PLA,They are CAPF or PAP

So if they are Armed Police, then the PLA commandos would be in same level as SEAL team or British SAS

Wow, so a police unit beat some nation's military SOFs?!

Damn that's embarrassing for the concerned nations.

It's a counter-terrorism compeition, which are some police team's bread and butter. Look at the winner of 2011 and 2012. They are both police teams. In addition, China's Armed Police is a special organization. Its members are considered soldiers, but they perform policing functions. They teams they sent were some of the best troops out there, drawn from SPC and Snow Leopards.
