No worries i just saw it. Although we might differ with his views on xinjiang and tibet but he is not totally wrong on those points as well tibet was part of qing dynasty as well as xinjiang.
Now coming to his point of saying 她妈的 所有斯坦 what he meant was he was rounding up "all the damn istans" meaning all the damn istan's together don't have enough resources as xinjaing (east turkistan) and people clapped on it being rich and not him using 他妈的 sentence.
You have to not only know chinese language but also understand the situation and context.
I am most patriotic and very muslim loving person , and i I didn't find anything super offensive however
There is a sense of rounding us up there with all central asians. Which even i do at times.
Also he doesn't speak about ethnic cleansing as in killing... He is saying he would give xinjaing students more marks and opertunities in other parts of china so that they can be part of chinese future together undivided.
He is talking about unity and he is encouraging han people to go to xinjaing because han people are least bothered about ethnic values and are more centered on china one nation harmony and combimed future.
He is speaking for unity of china and not in a bad way. Although i know my uyghur brothers would not like it because they have ethnic mind sets just like we have in Pakistan baloch pakhtoon saraiki punjabi kashmiri first Pakistani later.
I like this professor from what iv seen. I don't find anything wrong with the video.
Translation on video subtitles is correct except tiny difference. Nothing wrong with translation.
