China has never betrayed North Korea and has no option to support it, because the collapse of Kim Jung Un would spill negative effects onto China and a refugee crisis will occur. Second the North Korean government has betrayed China, because it purged all political elements who were Pro-Chinese. The reaction of the Chinese people on the streets is interesting. Wonder why they are lining up to see an Indian PM.

State reception is nothing to be taken seriously, that's just part of the game.

Anyway, lets see what comes out. The central issue of borders is not going to be addressed in any meaningful sense. Nor is it India's interests to get it done for the next decade or so.

But on the contrary, they are now teaming up, joint banks, trade deals worth billion, joint military training, closer relationship. You thought too much, Pakistan is our only ally and all weather friend, no one can replace your position,but India is not doomed to be China enemy either. Well, considering that both the leaders are from humble backgrounds and have worked hard to reach where they are, they both understand the importance of being grounded to one's roots and staying simple while working hard for their respective countries.

Interesting indeed. Well, as i said here before, India and China have much more in common than Pakistan and China. Pakistan is only lucky that we took land from China and incoporated it into our Indian empire back then, which led to the current border dispute and 1962 war between India and China. So yes agree it's my governments past fault. But then again time has past and today things are changing. Pakistan is also mainly a Muslim /Islamic country, so any sort of 'oppression' by the Chinese government of it's Muslim uygur people will evoke strong feelings/resentment from Pakistan and it's brother ally Turkey, we have seen that before on this forum, where ironically most Indians backed China on this issue while most Pakistani tend to side with Turkey against China policies in xijiang (while the others simply stay silent so as not to offend their chinese 'friend '.lol) . Yes to most Muslim /Islamic countries religion triumphs /comes at times even before national interests when push comes to shove.

So apart from China border issues with India, I don't see any major hindrance/problem between China and India. Pakistan doesn't have much in common with China truth be told. However Pakistan is a crucial ally for china in the region giving it's position /location. So yes China will continue it's relationship /cooperation with Pakistan but it will NEVER do so at the detriment of suspending all ties with India which offers china much more investment market /potential than Pakistan. So this is not a zero sum game.


By the way it's interesting to see a Russian member here talking down to China (like it has for the past century. Lol) . Just shows Russia is getting more and more worried about it's declining influence /leverage over China and much of the world. Move on Moscow, your U. S. S. R days are long gone and will never return again, so dont be bitter because of that. China is our main long term ECONOMIC /FINANCIAL (not military) threat, no other country comes close . So i understand it's hard for Moscow to swallow this bitter pill. since it has little to no economic weight /leverage . The hell, even India will overtake Russia economically this year or next.



Why shouldn't China trade /cooperate with India??? I know you south Asians are very paranoid to the point of cutting off trade links /cooperation /integration among yourselves, but please don't think east Asian should behave like you people, they are more smarter /pragmatic to be honest.

THERE ARE NO FRIEND'S IN POLITICS ONLY INTERESTS. I recommend you to watch the mlviemovie series called : house of cards. it's one of the most(if not the most) interesting political movie I have watched which gives us an idea how America's(and much of the world) politics/geo politics works . Thanks bro. but we are merely a pragmatic/open country, so we tend to look at things from a much bigger picture contrary to most other powers, coupled with the fact that ewe did build the largest empire in history which gave us alot of experience in managing World issues /geo politics. So it indeed gave us a lot of knowledge on how to face challenges and thrive. Reason we are rather good strategists.

All what I'm saying are mere facts /truth which many people don't want to listen on here. It's not like I'm inventing something new, all of these can be clearly seen if one takes time to read/study and observe what is going on around the world. So I'm merely stating fact,/making obvious observations coupled with the fact that i studied international relations at uni, which gave me a more deeper knowledge about how geo politics works (with all the dirty back deals that goes with it). No country /power is innocent /saint as far as I knew, so yes nothing is black and white, there's always something deeper /hidden behind the curtain. Afterall, you can't be a politician unless you are a very good liar /hypocrite. and yes politics is indeed a dirty game, nobody can be called a saint /innocent ones they start getting involved in politics /geo politics, not even his 'holiness 'the Dalai Lama.

Luckily, British has left Asia and is focusing on Europe issue now. Luckily, Russia and USA are good at strategy but not as good as Britain. Luckily, Japan and almost every country around China is lack of strategic expertise and short vision. As you said,Britain is open and calm attitude when referring to international relation, it has great vision to play balance.
