Chinese PLA Colonel: Doklam was a humiliating defeat for China, PRC caved in to Indian pressure

Bro I can bet my membership this will happen. Modi cannot afford media attention when this happens. It has to be a media victory.
Why argue with them about the road.
Donglang standoff is about India challenging China, no more about that road.
Standoff is about India asserting that Donglang belong to Bhutan.
India avoided destruction by the skin of their teeth by cowardly withdrawing without concessions after order from China.
The focus is will India obey China's order to stand down.
India obediently OBEYED China's order.
Good Boy Obedient India.

So, Indian Army fled the battlefield with their tail between their legs and somehow that's China's defeat? Indian logic.

Correct Facts are

- China was patrolling Doklam from before (Indian Army had no issues)

- China started road construction (Indian Army came, moved construction team/ PLA out of Doklam, Brought buldozers and destroyed road or what ever constructed)

- China started giving warnings and building troops in area (Indian Army stayed there for 72 days, not allowed construction of any kind)

- Both Parties came to agreement, Chine will bring down build up , India will vacate Doklam, Pre June status {patrolling and no road} (Which is exactly what India wanted)

How does indian mind work?

  1. All of a sudden, India withdraws its soldiers unilaterally
  2. Chinese soldiers stay and patrol the area that was claimed by India as disputed
  3. China will continue to make the road
And the conclusion is India Won ....:crazy:

Yea, the road was never the issue, it was the forward policy by Modi/Doval. He was testing Chinese resolve, miscalculated Chinese reactions and as they say, the rest was history.

It is Dokhlam not Dhela...Do you have another conflict with China in Dhela? BTW where is it located?

OK Imagine a scenario,
Durrand Line is disputed between Pakistan and Afganistan (** China and ** Bhutan)

Now Indian Army's 100+ soldiers cross durrand line, Stay there (area claimed by Pak) for 72 Days, Return without a scratch,

Or Else Indian Army's 100+ soldiers cross Wagah BOrder, Stay there for 72 Days, Return without a scratch,

Now Guess Who won :P , and Who lack balls :P In India China conflict

.
Nope.
Doklam stand off was never about territory sonvr we never claimed it to be our part.
It was about Chinese road construction and violation of no building in trijunctions.
And China will never be able to resume construction of the road even a century from now.
BTW there is no snow in Doklam and there won't be any till November.
From what I know any construction have to be done between June and September.
I don't think anybody will take a keyboard warriors word on what the weather is over at Donglang. Its not just snow but rain as well. Road to nowhere is not important and there is no urgency for it.

The important point is India has violated China's sovereignty over Donglang, that is the main issue.
India was claiming Donglang belong to Bhutan.
If India agree it belong to China, what business is it of India what China do there.

That road on Donglang became irrelevant when India decided to confront China.
It escalated to a battle of nerves to see who will concede or risk war.
China lambasted India for 2 months without a peep from Timid India.

Finally India beset with riots in Haryana and Punjab and facing devastating floods in Assam that will no doubt affect transport of supplies to soldiers in the border areas should war starts, decided to cowardly surrender.
India avoided massive destruction and break up into pieces by the skin of their teeth.
Be grateful for China's restrain.

Imagine this now, India had a mutual defense agreement with Afghanistan and withdrew after Pakistan built a road 30-40% deep into a disputed (still standing) area, mobilizes troops and gave warnings, and you retreated after announcing no unilateral withdrawals and road building cessation demand. Now instead of them patrolling, you have them stationed at the site of a disputed area.

1) How will the world view India now after a forced retreat?
2) How will Bhutan view India now after abandoning them in Doklam?
3) Grade 40 road is standing and construction will still continue.
4) Chinese troops stationed in Doklam, you essentially handed Chinese the excuse to be based there.

Q: Could you tell us that how many Chinese soldiers are still deployed at the Dong Lang area?

A: This is a very specific question. What I can tell you is that The Chinese border troops continue with their patrols and stationing in the Dong Lang area. China will adjust and deploy its military resources in accordance with the need of guarding the border and the situation on the ground.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

China always patrolled that place that was never a problem. The problem was construction of the road.
You guys are free to patrol.

Yea, the road was never the issue, it was the forward policy by Modi/Doval. He was testing Chinese resolve, miscalculated Chinese reactions and as they say, the rest was history.

What reaction ? Daily threats from global times or the never reaching missiles photo ops ?

Anyways china stopped the road construct and basically is what india wanted.

The difference now is that China will ensure that it has enough hardware and troops to prevent Indian troops from interfering once it restart road building again.
