So what's the purpose of B1 coming to Chinese's ADIZ? To provoke? To test Chinese reaction time? Or is it a trap to China, so they can be protrayed as a threat to the South Korea border? They won't do any unprovoked attack aren't they? Then what should Chinese respond to this? Scramble all their fighter to intercept? Target this aircraft with their SAM? or just send a warning?
So what's the anti air that Chinese has at that vicinity? I doubt that jet fighter is the only option to intercept such provocation. There are a lot of anti air element that they have possessed. Like AAW Ship (Type 054A, 052C, D, etc), HQ-9, etc. So why would Chinese has to over react like the Japanese when they see a single bomber come to their ADIZ? Different country has different tactic. China is not Japanese. And there are another way to handle this provocation. If B-1 is proven to be a threat, they can just use any anti air defense at the area to neutralize this object. so They don't have send they J-11.
I think a warning is already sufficient. B-1 is inside their radar. Any misbehavior can lead into the launch of Chinese anti air element. Not only from their fighter, but from their SAM batteries, or Frigate / Destroyer. So why should they over-react with this? China is not Japan. They are not a kind of Paranoid Otaku. They have their own way to handle a threat.
Plus, B-1 flies near South Korea. Do you know what is it? It's a lame trap. To provoke South Korea so they will consider Chinese as an enemy. The intention is brilliant, but the trap is just lame. Trust me, if China eat this provocation and send their Fighter, tomorrow we will see "China is a threat to South Korea in the main page of Western Newspaper." but because they don't eat it. CNN just say that China failed to intercept the B-1.
If China scramble their fighters to intercept the B-1, ROK will reacted. They will also scramble their jet fighters to intercept the fighters. Thus, ROK relation with China will be affected. Western Media will boast the threat, to change the ROK people mind so they can accept the THAAD.But China didn't eat the crap. So it's failed.
So lame, just lame. Try harder
