5月25日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻局副局长、国防部新闻发言人任国强上校答记者问。
今天下午，国防部发言人针对有关美国驱逐舰进入南沙美济礁12海里一事回答记者说，中国海军“柳州”号导弹护卫舰、“泸州”号导弹护卫舰对美舰进行识别查证，并予以警告驱离。这是军方首次证实056型护卫舰已经在南沙群岛海域执行任务。
