You know I kid you not but I wouldn't have been able to tell whether shes a Han, a Hui or even a Korean !

I still can't tell Chinese & Koreans apart !

Hui Chinese (like our moderator Hu Songshan) have only partial ancestry from the Middle East, they mostly look Han Chinese nowadays.

Uyghurs on the other hand, still maintain a fairly distinctive look.

Maybe you should marry a Chinese Uyghur instead. Settle down in Beijing or Shanghai where there are a lot of expatriate communities, work for an international company, that way you won't be too disadvantaged from not knowing how to speak Chinese.

Nobody can not even over here in the States but I can spot a Viet from other East Asians they have a darker tone as far I have seen but that may not be the case for all Viets.

I saw a couple of pictures of Uighur Women & most of them had a unibrow !

I can tell an Indian from a Pakistani 95% of the time, Indians aren't all darker than us but you are all hell of a lot shorter than us, @Armstrong doesn't count he is an anomaly.
