Not the way you took it... I mean there must be some defects in the process of enriching the alloys.... there must be impurities present... or the workers skills? Because f-7 crashed multiple times in Bangladesh the latest last year and the pilot went missing... everything in that jet is chinese... if there wasn't any fault during manufacturing why only Chinese jets are reported crashing in china and elsewhere... why not Russian Jets in Russia.... don't talk about India I have doubts on their maintenance

I think China know Russian engines quality is worse than US, but China has no choice because firstly their airframes are identical to Russian, secondly, Chinese engines quality is still not in par with Russian engines, especially the durability, thirdly they cant reach a US engine. Whatever need the durability as vital, China would use Russian engines, single engine JF17, J10... Important model J20, J31, J15, H6K, Y20

And yes, the engines dont stand alone, they must be compatible to all related mechanic components and electronics.

Let judge the Russian engines on Russian designed and made aircrafts. Put them onto other made at your own risk.

Russian aircraft such as Mig-29s or Sukhois are some of the most widely used in the world and crashes are rare, and often not related to mechanical issues. Crashes happen in every Air Force especially the larger Air Force's that fly high hours. A lot of the time it has nothing to do with the engine failing on their own but with things like bird strikes or pilot error or even pilots blacking out which is what caused a few Russian crashes over the years.


Poor maintenance or improper enstalation can cause engine problems, so if a Russian engine fails due to either of the above mentioned who is at fault?

If a bird strike suddenly causes an engine to stop is it Russia's fault? If there is a problem with Chinese made fuel delivery or software that causes an engine to stop, is it Russia's fault? What about pilot error or a pilot blacking out? Or dozens of other none engine related issues? It could also be the fly-by-wire system, of which some Sukhois like Indian and Chinese use their own.

If the J-15s that crashed used Russin engines, it would, by default, be blamed on the engines.

What is important to note is the crashes per 100000 Flight Hours.
USAF does close to 1000000 Flight Hours a year, with something like 18-20 Crashes, While the much smaller IAF does something like 250000 Flight Hours with 8-10 Crashes, the crash rate being high due to higher concentration of soviet era Mig 21/27s in the fleet

I just said why is there only Chinese jet crashing and not much Russians... tbh no one even knows if that Russian jet crashed because the engines aren't good... maybe maintenance can also be the reason... but every single Chinese jet crashing that are made in china is not a coincidence... leftovers?
