Chinese investors to invest $50bn in Punjab

Such investment news have been coming for years....yet to materialize.

The investors on the other hand are willing to invest, they have money and proper infrastructure in place but our politicians and bureaucrats who try to create hurdles by going to courts on silly silly things jusy for political rivalry, and the courts will stop the investment until the issue is resolved. That makes investors angry and they turn back.

yes like $20 billion tonnel being discussed in similar thread...seems china is playing a word game and pak is making a fool of itself by taking them seriously! AS I writtten earlier, if there is no clear benefit to China or damage to India, China wont do anything credible for Pakistan.

as Zakii pointed out above, there are comparatively small but imp projects which are not taking off bcoz of fund and here china is showing pak leaders a dream world that would never exist!
