Tsukuba City is beautiful. You will love it there...! The weather is cool on autumn season, winters are cold, but not as cold as in Hokkaido. Summers are cool, windy, just exquisite. The people there are moderate-paced, and definitely not as 'hustle and bustle' as in Tokyo. ^^,

Abe GOV deny the comfort women and NanKing Massacre.

In Japan's history book , Japan GOV emphasizes the NUKE bomb they suffered but mention lightly about how brutal they are .

And now they do not even admit comfort women and NK massacre.

Japanese never confess about what they did during WW2 ,they are human beast, no matter how polite they are or how beautiful Japan is.

Under this circumstance ,I will never give modern Japanese a break , they are all the same.

History classes are to taught kids about how their ancestors lived and acted, and of course no one want to acknowledge that their grandfathers were the bad guys. I believe Chinese history class does not touch much on the matter of Chinese civil war.
What do you mean by "comfort"? Apology? Money compensation? War criminals trials? I say let the water go under the bridge. We can't cling to the past to advance.

Those civilian would have wish to be "evaporated" in the bomb than die in Vietcong gulag (Con Son Island)

You should review Vietcong history textbook as well. It's emphasize heavily on Vietnammese glorious victory against Chinese, French, American again and again but never mention of their crimes against South Vietnamese after 1975.

You should also look at Vietnam Republic history of dragging the French guillotines around and beheaded all those who worked with communists or suspected communists during the 1954-1960 period. There were around 10k-15k people executed by such barbarian method.

You'll love it if you are a nature lover. People in Tsukuba are also very quaint, friendly. I always smile whenever i'm near that area because of their very funny accent. Tokyo area accent. ^^,

Actually broke both arms and a leg. His squad mates say he got himself shot down by AAA because he went too low on his bombing run.

We can not just let it go. So many Chinese died .

Germany govt keeps a silent policy: "You don't talk about it I don't talk about it". And Jewish people do not react the same way as Chineses do. Leave Japan alone for a while and suddenly some Japaneses will want to apologize to China. If you guys keep backing them to the corner, I won't see that will happen anytime soon.

The era of apologizing is, in my opinion, over. The Chinese Government is known to use it for demagoguery.

True, China would love to use Japan apology as a political advantage on diplomatic negotiation. I believe that's why Japan is cautious about this issue.

What we did in WW2 was done in a time of War. We were not in Peace.

Now, do they expect us to apologize? War is War.

Bad things happen in War, unfortunately.

We've been apologizing for 70 years.

The era of apologizing is over.

Period.

Vietnamese, Vietminh even appreciate the support of surrendered Japanese troops right in 1945, when they helped Vietminh to fight French , several Japanese Vietminh awarded medals for their achievement,

IN Vietnamese language, we call them "nguoi Viet Nam moi" means "New Vietnamese"

They still pursue the Greater East Asia spirit, thousand of them still in Viet Minh force as trainer, advisors, commanders, some married to Vietnamese women. Majority returned to Japan after 1954 when Vietnamese already pushed French out of Indochina.

Many of the Imperial soldiers contributed to the local causes in the theaters they were in. In Vietnam, in Indonesia, in Burma, etc.

They all adopted Vietnamese name, just like what Vietnamese did in Laos.
