Chinese international student talks about his experience living in Japan

Total tourist volume between China and Japan reached over 1 million in 2013 and hopefully the number will only continue to grow. China sends almost 900.000 tourists to Japan and receives almost 300.000 of Japanese tourists. I am sure that an overwhelming majority of these tourists leave the respective nations with great impressions and feelings of friendship and respect.

We repeat a millionth time: People are able to differ between government and people. Regular people should not get hooked up too much by conjectural geopolitical developments and mind their own business. If there were hostility toward Japan among regular Chinese, Japanese brands and popular culture would not be so popular.

Chinese media does not portray a bad image of the Japanese people, but often of the government. Most of these portrayals are realistic and bear on contemporary developments. Chinese are educated in school to differentiate between the imperial government and regular people when they learn about the long 20th century.

When a Japanese visits and ventures into the heartland of China, he/she only is greeted with warm welcome and his/her life is fully secured. I know same goes with Japan. The more people-to-people interaction, the more understanding. Regular Chinese may have a negative view of the Japanese government and its leadership, but, respect at peoples level is almost always maintained.

We also hope that the regular Japanese will not simply buy what is portrayed in Japanese media and by the leadership (who always have their own political agenda) and come and see for themselves what China is and who the Chinese are.

Many surprised about Vietnam for following :
1. Never torture US pilots who drop heavy carpet bombs and was shotdown and return them after US withdrawal 1973
2. Welcome President Bill Clinton, Sen. McCain, other Vietnam veterans of USA to Vietnam
3. Promote South Korea, Japan investment during post war.
4. Joining ASEAN ( which is including most of SEATO members )
5. Leave Chinese troops retreat in peace during Mar 1979.

Then they would surprise to see how Japan tied to USA

@sweetgrape You posted very disturbing graphics. I suggest using a spoiler tag or something.

I will visit Tsukuba city myself now.

Tsukuba City is beautiful. You will love it there...! The weather is cool on autumn season, winters are cold, but not as cold as in Hokkaido. Summers are cool, windy, just exquisite. The people there are moderate-paced, and definitely not as 'hustle and bustle' as in Tokyo. ^^,

Let me share some pictures and videos of the community:

:coffee:, What did you want to explain?

. .
Those pictures explain you what does "Human animals" mean.
I understand. Still it makes me lose faith in humanity. And those images might be too "graphical" for younger mems. I felt nauseous after watching them.

.
Goodness me, why is it when I try to open threads that focuses on Chinese-Japanese camaraderie, someone always ends up talking about WWII? :nono:

. .
Thanks to Japan exemption of visa to Vietnam, it's popular to see more Vietnamese around in Japan next year.

Someone's personal experience doesn't reflect society as a whole.

Congratulations you are just like every other nation then....

1) The Geneva convention prevents torture. US, Germans, China, and Soviets didn't torture during war.

2) China was in US spear of influence, Union welcomed Lee, Russia and China good friends, US Japan good relations, US UK are great allies, and even Germany and Israel are good buds.

3) Who didn't....Israel reindustrililzed Germany, America welcomed Chinese and Japanese cash, and more, business is business.

4) Yea, German is in NATO and Japan is ally of US, China and Russia in one sphere, while Pakistan and China are great friends.

5) No you didn't, we may not have won, but you couldn't pull your elites from the Cambodia side, we retreated while burning your entire north, as if you guys didn't or wouldn't have wanted to stop that.

It was a tie, get over it. We have, most Chinese don't even know there was a war in 79. Or where Vietnam is, but that's a different story. lol

Why are you making normal things sound extraordinary......

.
LOL, typical Vietnamese sentiment. I am really confused now. Has the Chinese kid in the video ever talked about VN?
