Chinese and Indian Soldiers singing together, when China and India did a joint exercise I believe in 2008. "Khabi Alvida Naa Kehna" tunes.

Hehe...nice vid.

Yeah I thought the video was interesting, you know to see soldiers together talking, eating, singing, and socializing especially from China and India considering the historical animosity and mistrust between the two countries.

Not really. There is no historic animosity and mistrust between the countries or the people.

The border dispute is a colonial legacy. The war was bad bit was a one off event.

I don't think there is any hatreds at the people's level. The threat perception is there of course and India is taking due steps for that.

China is already our largest trading partner. Trade is expected to cross $100 billion in the short term.

:lol::lol:

Whats that

Chandni Chowk to Chongqing

or

Kung Fu meets Kabbaddi

Our greatest and possibly only ally singing Bollywood songs in an Indian base camp.

****!

You mean to say that your greatest and possibly only ally should be hostile to India like u??

Why don't you first introduce yourself instead of wasting bandwidth? Follow the rules of this forum or you will find yourself not participating.

hehe, don't worry about that. I think they were singing pretty well.

if China generates only hatred towards India, that's not really a good thing for Pakistan.

this is not gonna happen,KB.

getting thawed with the west does serve China's interest but the Sino-Pakistan relationship is absolutely the firmest in China's geopolitics. Pakistan is so important to China, not only geopolitically but also as a reliable ally. we can not take the term "time tested" only as a slogan.

What if in the future China decides to "swap" Pakistan for India? It would make sense to me if I were a PRC strategist, the planning would also fall in line with the new global order that China is keen to get involved in with the West.

Anything is possible!!! Economic could override politics. However, looking at the current geopolitical map of Central Asia and West of PAK, it's unlikely for the swap to occur. Think Sino concerns more with west of Sino (i.e. Xinjiang) than south of Sino (i.e. Xizang).

Any person who understands the geo-political environment knows that there are no permanent friend or enemy.
What is so critical between India and China? I think both are responsible nation and can be a good friend, even Pakistan be a best friend of China. And we have whole history of peacefull co-existance except one case, which is nothing if you take 1000 years history.
Even in current senario India and China are going to be closer. because both can do business with USA, but can not accept US hegemony in this region in long term.
Another reason, India is no doubt is going to be a considerable force in this region or may in at world arena in next 10 years (which is very less time). In that senarios china and India can generate some powerful economic and military zone just by simple friendship.

Please also note China-Pakistan, China-India friendship can exist togehter....

Hey guys please understand if you want to have a Geo-Political discussion it would be best to have it somewhere else and not in the General Images & Video category for obvious reasons...Someone should start a thread about the Geo-Political ties via Pakistan-China-India...I would participate. Thanks
