Chinese Han Traditional Costume and Music

Biggest issue is that the Ming fell and we got Manchu clothing during the industrial revolution era so only those Qing Clothing can fit well today for work as they are made for industrial work.

Looks good
I like ancient chinese movie theme.
PS: such traditional dresses are seen as sleeping dresses in the western world.

The guys in this video picture seems lack of testosterone. They looks too pretty for a man.

But maybe even if the Ming wasn't fell, the traditional clothes won't be that drastically different.

I didn't personally experience the cultural revolution, but from what I can see now I can't find part of our culture lost to it, western media has zero idea about the Chinese culture but constantly claim that CCP destroyed the Chinese culture, yet can not point out what exactly the culture in China had been destroyed. That's why I ask foreigners knowing nothing about Chinese culture what exactly the supposedly destroyed culture they are talking about.

No Chinese in China will claim culture revolution is correct. It is a period of event used for power struggle between different parties. Most important is , the CPC has moved on from this dark period and moved on the right track. There are also dark period of many countries government system. But ask yourselves, why those sourgrape pick on China?

Has UK reflect on their shameful history of opium war wage against China or colonial of other nation? Has India really moved on from Gurajat riot where the instigator Modi even become the PM of India.

I can easily pinpoint many contries past ugly history and who has the right to criticize who when they themselves dont even reflect on themselves first.

Yes, I am stating what I have read from media.

Speaking from personal experience, our family possessions were ransacked by the Red Guards, both my father & mother's side. The art pieces weren't destroyed but rather warehoused, some more significant pieces were taken by museum. After the cultural revolution, the government did make an effort in returning the seized artworks. My father side had a clear catalog of the art collection and most of the pieces were returned, even those stored in the museum, although it took quiet an effort to finally get them out of the museum. My mother's side however doesn't have any such catalog, so they were returned some random pieces, matching the numbers reportedly taken. It was a chaotic time, but no, Chinese culture are far more resilient than a few years of chaos can possibly destroy.

The renaissance of Han culture today however is a movement to revitalize a culture that was suppressed under the Manchu rule long before the communists. So the cultural revolution has little bearing on the renaissance.
